The problem is that I will talk with an operations manager who is all gung-ho with what I have to offer, but he "just has to clear it with the management committee", with whom I don't get to speak. A few days later I get to hear "after careful review, we have decided not to pursue this opportunity at this time." No other discussion.

However, writing all of it out & keeping it at your desk is 70% of the battle - I myself have a laminated written asset taped to my desk at all times, and it’s truly a lifesaver! It’s too bad it’s so easy to get caught up in how many dials did you make rather than how many eyes open miles did you put in where you can help out the other runners.

We recommend, when “challenging” your buyer - to not challenge them as an individual or their beliefs, but rather diagnosing the facts behind that assumption & challenging those instead.
