I run 3 tenki’s, 3 rescue cat, 2 colosseum, 3 proving ground and 1 bear. One tenki gets you to rescue cat or 1 bear without using your normal summon granted you have a beast/beast warrior or winged-beast in your hand to discard for kerass to get into 1 shuraig then link both into ferrijit, again, doesn’t cost your normal summon yet because you can special summon the monster you grabbed with shuraig’s eff. I don’t like the idea of having 3 attorix because I always hate drawing 2 or god forbid all 3, took out noxious as well because you have too much beast warrior by the time he becomes useful with comeback. Extra deck i took out dragases for cross sheep because of tamer editor to go into dareios. You’ll have at least 6 if doing things right and i just use 1 claudius to have follow-up for next turn.

have you considered running test tigers? extenders on their own + they bounce back veilered/impermed GB's on the field i guess it runs into nib but at least it gets you going

I've been looking for a nice profile that does not include Overpricedmites. Once I get the cards I will likely try a pure build first just to see how I like that. Give Test Bear some love. I still have some of the high rarity glads from a legendary collection GX set as well as the original Retiari in NM 1st ed secret. :D I don't think Retiari or Bestiari will see play, but I will try since it will be a pure build I think I will run a bit more gladiators. Nice profile and gratz on the first!

Absolutely loved the profile. Made me curious with the Kashtira package, but you addressed my concern right at the end with a Kash summon putting Tamer Editor as a 5th summon and then being super susceptible to Nib. Iv seen people talk about playing a Sky Striker package: 3 Engage, 1 Anchor, 1 Drones, 1 Booster but I think that puts you in a similar place going 1st, but feels very strong going second. I’ve just started playing around with the deck and have been starting with pure, electing to play 3x Tenki and 3x comeback as a means of consistency and playing through cards getting negated. The Tri package is the next engine I’m interested in trying, I agree it seems much higher impact than the Primite engine. Again, awesome profile, I love how in depth you were. Excited to see where you can push the deck. I agree that Feather Storm seems really high impact in the side, shame Besti doesn’t cut it lol

You can cut 1 Editor for anything you want ( IP SP ? ). Flavius is definetely a 4 off. You can cut on Attorix and Fraktall and play instead Tenki, that os virtually both. But I can see the argument of the weakness against removal going 2nd and Impulse. Those are my advices

@FingersCrossed But like, Editor can't be Bystialed. If you summon Editor, you always have/bring a Domi out, so Bystials don't do shit on Editor And absolutely nobody will interrupt an Editor with Veiler/Imperm/Impulse. The target is always either Dareios, Gistel or Panther. And you always use 1 of the previous ones before summoning any Editor. So a Bystial on Editor will never happen

@ it’s up to you bud but I played against bystial ryzeal Thursday at locals I did the gistel + attorix combo they tried to saronir my editor when I used comeback I dom negated and he chained druiswurm and banished my editor. Another game against white forest they activated nib at the same time I dom negated then they baldraked my editor so 2 out of 6 games I had my editor bystial’d 😂 Maybe I’ve just been unlucky but I’ll always play 2

Looks really similar to my deck. Red-Eyes and Kashtira are both good at putting out level 7s on board so makes a really good rank 7 XYZ spam deck.

I run an odd eyes (OE) package in my kash extra deck that you could try out. It's honestly just for fun, but it does catch people off guard and otk. It's 4 cards tho: Gravity Controller, OE Absolute, OE Rebellion, OE Rebellion Overlord.

What’s crazy how Konami gives blue eyes so much love and support but not dark magician or red-eyes when all 3 were just as impactful to the anime. Also I know Kaiba fanbase is huge but cmon at least give support to all 3 legacy decks…

Dark magician has had tons of support. Playable stuff in other themes, but decent overall. Blue eyes has been pretty much filler outside of 2016. Which was constructed for it to be the best. Expect DM later on . Red eyes DESPERATELY needs decent cards. Rush duel has plenty of good stuff.

@ Dm has been the same play style over and over circle eternal soul and summon out dark magician to banish any other variant of the deck isn’t even playable due to massive bricking and 0 recursion which isn’t even a dm deck at this point red-eyes also struggles in the sense where its play style never changed either and it’s sad to see that blue eyes can get an update on its play style but the other 2 can’t

@Jonathan_Luna I meant in the sense DM cards like Magicians Souls/ illusion has seen some play in other things. No blue eyes cards can say that. I think it's better to focus on one, make them good and competent. Than hurl generic old school support and it be more slop. This pushes Blue eyes to be meta. Let it have it's time. Then later in the year, the next DM stuff rise. Possibly another structure deck. Just because it didn't happen today, doesn't mean it never will.

Not a bad list, but I do think some changes could be made. Like making space for Tempest so you can bridge the Kashtira and Red-Eyes stuff. Speaking of, I do think Unicorn is much more important these kind of builds compared to Fenrir, so seeing him at two kinda threw me off. Also, since you’re running several field spells, you might as well run Malefic Red-Eyes since it fields you another level 7 at the cost of a banish from deck.

@ Tempest can send itself and a Unicorn to search Black Metal Dragon. The Unicorn in GY can also be used if you happen to have Birth in hand (plays like that are why I actually advocate for running it at 3 compared to any other amount). Also, if you’re willing to fit Dragunity Knight Romulus and a Dragon Ravine, Tempest can become the GY send, allowing it special summon itself by banishing monsters that don’t do anything. As for the field spell issue, look into the Blue-Eyes structure deck when it comes out. The link 1 searches a field spell that Red-Eyes quite likes, which also opens up synchro plays before you end up XYZ locked

@ I wouldn’t play the blue eyes link for the field spell as it’s a brick and you may as well just play striker and boot imo But tempest is a good shout I may change my ratios around and try add 2 copies in although I’ll have to play more birth to really get the benefit of discarding unicorn or tbh just specialing fenrir adding unicorn to then discard with tempest could also work, you’ve given me some good options so I’m going to get cooking! This is what we need to make red eyes meta everyone coming together with viable ideas 🙌

@ The field spell lets you dump Normals from your deck, even if you draw into it, you get a use. Boot sector does nothing unless if you ran a Rokket package. I do think it the link has a use case since it doesn’t lock you like Pisty does, and you’ll never use its effect

on imperial dragon: at least as a 6 it's a dragon material for meteor black, or as a generic dragon for dragoon, or as xyz material with a magnamhut for atum or something my current ratios for the spells are 2-3 lode, 1 roar, 1-2 drillbeam, and 1 imperial dragon (still tinkering with it)

@@matteodibe5085 ravine is access to either tempest which is a free level 7 or you can send absorouter which gets you a rokket. Tempest is a free level 7 so you can make flare metal 😊

I run a very similar deck as a rank 7 XYZ spam deck and after watching your videos I tried including the White Forest cards but I feel it drops my consistency too much. Really cool idea though.

@@Danlight1911 yeah I think if you’re playing more rank 7 spam it doesn’t help with that, but for me I like different layers of interaction and more possibilities so it suits me more.

if youve got spaces in the ED open (mirrorjade/rindbrum/sprind), a single albaz can mean several points of interaction for a combo-heavy opponent if magnamhut wouldn't help you survive the turn: hieratic seals is a bounce that can summon albaz, albaz is an enemy-fuse that can make either mirrorjade or sprind (depending on enemy board), and if you summoned MJ, MJ can send rindbrum for a banish, which can net another albaz-fuse later for the sprind (sprind has it's own movement-removal effect, but i find it doesnt get to come up all that often when ive got other plays to make) main hitch is that if you've got the buster ED lock in place, MJ isnt of much use unless they spend removal for that (which i mean hey, redundant defenses is nice on its own to eat opponents cards)
