Amen, thanks for this. That's why I refer to the interpretation of the early Christians, Church fathers whose writings we have from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd... and later centuries. And above all, the interpretation of the Catholic Church, which is guided into all truth, against which gates of Hell shall not prevail - with which the first Christians agree, seeing as they belong to it.

I hope you realize that many things we use in our main subjects to this day are represented in this book, the people during the time of this books creation had a number to find a circumference of the circle, we use pi which I 3.14 etc. Whereas the people during those times got the number 3, which is extremely impressive considering the only measuring tool they used was a rope with knots. @@alphakennyone2828 well, it only says in a few different versions that the earth is a few thousand years old, only certain denominations have that, a day is a measurement of time, it is believed that Moses wrote the book of genesis because of how close he was to God, a day is thousands to God, meaning just like the big bang theory, the creation of the universe took a while, and Satan was described as a serpent, he isn't actually a snake, he's called a serpent because he deceives people, and lastly it is completely possible for 2 of each animal to be on a ship, there is scientific proof that the same stuff that makes the immortal jelly fish immortal is in humans but in small amounts, and that back then we had more of this substance which is why people used to live hundreds of years, Noah had 120 years to build the ark, everything is completely logical, you can't take everything literally without doing some research.

So why do you Christians so vehemently reject the Oral Law component of the Torah, hmm? How are you supposed to know what’s to be taken literally vs metaphorically? For example, let’s take the verse “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth”. So if I were to accidentally injure someone at a construction 🏗️ site, causing them to lose the functionality of their eye 👁️, would the injured party be entitled to scooping out my own eye 👁️ with a spoon 🥄? Ghandi complained, saying that if everyone were to take this phrase literally, we’d have a world 🗺️ full of blind 😎 people. Now, according to the Oral Law (which again, most of you Christians reject), the phrase/verse refers to financial compensation for one’s loss. The reason why the Torah mentions eyes 👀 and teeth 🦷 is that they’re amongst the smallest, yet still visible body parts. So with the metaphorical interpretation in mind, we’re saying that any amount of compensation should be tailored to the injury as appropriate; in other words, making someone pay 💰 “an arm and a leg” for something small (ie, an eye 👁️ or a tooth 🦷) would be extraneous. Here’s a little more information ℹ️. The literal interpretation makes us Jews sound rather BARBARIC, doesn’t it? And who do you think 💭 would WANT for us Jews to appear to be barbaric and vile? Answer: antisemitic racists.

Jesus is NOT G-d! Where did you ever get that Idea? Jesus is the LAMB of GOD. Why would God need to be tested? Why would God need to bow down to the devil to regain his own creation? Why would God need to fast for 40 days? Jesus never claimed to be God. In fact, he told us to worship only the Father.

@karenlewis4142 Jesus makes the claim to be God in many different ways, and those who heard Him knew exactly what He was saying. For example, in John 10:30, Jesus said, “I and the Father are one.” The Jews who heard Him make that statement knew well that He was claiming to be God, as witnessed by their reaction: “His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him” (John 10:31). When He asked them why they were attempting to stone Him, they said, “For blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). Stoning was the penalty for blasphemy (Leviticus 24:16), and the Jews plainly accused Jesus of claiming to be God. Jesus made another statement claiming to be God when He said, “Very truly I tell you, . . . before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58). The Jews, upon hearing Him, clearly understood that He was claiming preexistence and, more than that, to be Yahweh, the great “I AM” of Exodus 3:14. On this occasion, too, they tried to stone Him for blasphemy. The Gospel of John begins with a statement of Jesus’ deity: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1, emphasis added). In verse 14, John identifies the Word: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John is affirming that the Word (Jesus) is God, and He left heaven to come to earth in the form of a man to live with men and display the glory of God the Father. The disciples of Jesus distinctly heard Him declare His deity. After Jesus’ resurrection, Thomas the doubting disciple finally understood Jesus’ deity, declaring Him to be “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28). If Jesus were not Lord and God, He would have corrected Thomas, but He did not; Thomas spoke the truth. After seeing Jesus walking on the water, His disciples worshipped Him (Matthew 14:33). When He appeared to them after the resurrection, they fell at His feet and worshipped Him (Matthew 28:9). The disciples were well aware of the Mosaic Law’s penalty for blasphemy, yet they worshipped Him as God, and Jesus accepted their worship. Jesus never rebuked people for worshipping0 Him, accepting their worship as good and proper. Jesus’ deity is recognized throughout the New Testament. Paul eagerly awaited “the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13) and encouraged us to do the same. Both Paul and John declared that Jesus created the universe (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17), yet Genesis 1:1 clearly says that God created the heavens and the earth. This can only mean that Jesus is God. Even God the Father referred to Jesus as God: “About the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever’” (Hebrews 1:8, quoting Psalm 45:6). Did Jesus say He was God? Yes, in many ways, including applying the names and attributes of God to Himself. He made it clear that He was God incarnate, proving it by His words, by His miracles, and finally by His resurrection from the dead. Although they doubted at first, those who were finally convinced of His deity understood why He had to die on the cross. If He were a mere man, His death would have been only sufficient to pay for His own sins, but because He was God in the flesh, His sacrifice was infinite and holy and able to pay for all the sins of the world.

Its should also be understood. JESUS IS GOD, he was able to resist it because he's God. We are under the curse of sin, it is why Jesus told us to pray every day to not be lead into temptation and to be delivered from evil. Since the devil goes to and fro seeking whom he MAY devour. It is God that even allows him to do what he does, because satan is accusing us of not being worthy. We will have times in our lives with this, i have just gotten out of YET ANOTHER storm that the devil was screwing with my life. They wont stop on this planet. We must endure. And we may not get it right every time, that is why GOD'S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT. He is always there for us. CHRIST IS KING
