Hey Brian, I’ve got a 69 C/10 SWB that I’m working on and I had 2 or 3 questions. You mentioned at your truck intro video that it had a 4 inch drop. Then you added a 1 inch drop block and springs. Were the springs you added stock height? And how was the front lowered. I really only want a 1 inch drop from where my truck is now but I will be adding new springs. If my old springs have “settled” over time and I put new stock springs with a 1 inch drop block, I’m afraid the new stance will end up higher. I’m a guy who doesn’t want a deep lowering job. What is your opinion based on your experience?

In the back I used 4 inch drop springs and 1 inch block, the front I cut a full coil off the original springs that was probably sagging, I would still like to put drop spindles in the front Thanks

Would be a better video if you would explain to your viewers step by step what you were doing. I'm trying to work on one carburetor not pull all of them out to work on that one particular carburetor

Love your bike. I have a 1983 750 magna. I can't get rid of it. You remind me of me.

Hi I need some help ,with the wires conection ,new pump has 2 wires and the old one 4 wires
@brianshobbys9 ай бұрын
You only need a hot and ground if you have a 12 volt test light find a hot and ground with key on, I think I used the green for ground and black for hot then tapped the other wires up

I went with a pair of Bridgestone tires that cost a bit more and handle fantastically.

Nice. The Dunlops are a pretty good all around tire. There was others I liked the looks of better

Looks and sounds just like my 1985 Magna 700. Great bike!

How often do you see Granada's of this generation (sedans or wagons) in your area? Are they rare?
@brianshobbys11 ай бұрын
I haven’t seen any in a few years so yes there rare
@djcrownvic11 ай бұрын
The last time I saw a Granada wagon in person was back in 2001. I was going to purchase my first used car. I was more exited about seeing a random Granada wagon driving by than the actual experience of going to see/buy my first car! The sighting lasted less than 20 seconds and it will probably always stick with me in my memory. I'm not sure I will ever see one again.

I’m curious if those bolts were replaced or if they came from the factory pointing toward the driveshaft. Where did you source the trailing arms from? My truck is in need of the same repair
@brianshobbys Жыл бұрын
I don’t think the trailing arms was ever out before me so I’m thinking those bolts was pointing towards the drive shaft from the factory. I found a used set of arms on the 67-72 Chevy truck forum for sale, there is reproduction ones that are pricey Thanks

My first bike was a magna. I recently bought another. Thanks for the video. I would like to ask, those front rotors look great, are they new and where did you find them if so?
@brianshobbys Жыл бұрын
They are original

That bomb is heard all the time? I think the factory one is not heard if I'm not mistaken?
@brianshobbys Жыл бұрын
If you can find a quality factory replacement one it would be better and easier to install but there is a lot of junk ones out there
