In singleplayer, or non dedicated, just tame a low level one and get the use of mods to mute it faster to decent levels. Trust me. It's 3am and I just got two... lvl 60... and it took me like 3 hours

Is it the same for evolved?

A few questions: 1. Can it be attacked while swimming in the ground? 2. What are the limits for where it can bury and swim in the ground?

Adding a few things: First, I have seen plenty of spawns along all the rivers. I have a base set up by the river next to the green Obelisk and I can confirm they spawn all over that area as well. Second, you can not passive tame the baby if the parent is not distracted. Luring the parent away and then trapping it does not seem to work. Third, while riding an adult gigantoraptor, you can kill the parent and then imprint on the baby.

You mentioned 10 variants. Is there a page describing these somewhere?? I think we got really lucky with ours (metal, crystal, sulfur, flint, thatch) but we're on a cluster and so thinking of getting one for each map. Wondering what resource options there are (and like... If we see one we don't want i guess we kill it??? Idk i assume there aren't many spawns at once)

Big disappointment. You can't place tek structures except foundations and walls. I'd rather use the mod that adds a primitive saddle to the Shasta.

why dont you parry

even on pve, i can see this being useful for base defense. at least on the island, a regular issue I encounter is wandering fliers encroaching on my base... if i'm near the coast its unending icthys being a perpetual pest. if i'm further north its constant argies wandering through. plant species X is always an option yes. and probably the easiest one to set up. but without that target selection option, it means whenever i'm carrying something home to toss in the taming pen, I need to remember to put them to sleep before the final approach. (and then remember to wake them back up again after) with the target list though, I can just set some turrets up to ONLY target the dinos I want to target and ignore everything else. (including not accidentally aggroing a wandering titanosaur... which happened once... it was not fun...) as mentioned though, placing a tesla coil with the slow effect amidst those turrets, or maybe one with the stacking damage debuff, could help make the defenses even more efficient.

I have been told the treasure maps can be used on the Island Ark. Is this true, or are they restricted to S Earth Ark? Others said the maps can be consumed to find treasure on any Ark map, but is that true?

I don't understand this, When I first started playing on PS5 the cosmetic tab was in the correct spot and my cosmetics were showing fine.....then the tabs have switched places and NO cosmetics are showing and I can't seem to reset it. I've tried restarting, I've tried deleting the save and making a new one, But they just won't show anymore.
