This video doesn't help Much. I want to authenticate the user only whose computer status shows healthy after that switch do CoA and assign Data VLAN.
@CiscoSystems3 күн бұрын
Hi there, we appreciate your feedback and would be happy to help. To achieve this on a Catalyst 1300 switch, you would need to use CoA in conjunction with a posture assessment to determine the health status of a user's computer. 1. Use a RADIUS server like Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to authenticate users and perform a posture assessment. The posture assessment will evaluate the health status of the user's computer. 2. Once the posture assessment is successful and the computer is deemed healthy, the RADIUS server can send a CoA request to the switch to re-authenticate the user. 3. After re-authentication, the switch can apply the new policy, such as assigning the user to a specific data VLAN. 4. Ensure that the switch is configured to support CoA and is integrated with the RADIUS server for dynamic authorization. - Use the aaa server radius dynamic-author command to configure the switch for dynamic authorization. - Define the RADIUS server and shared key using the server-key command. - Ensure that the switch is set up to handle CoA requests and apply the necessary VLAN assignments based on the RADIUS server's instructions. We hope this information helps!

How to configure Lacp and used it as trunk port?
@CiscoSystems3 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks for your question, and we'd be happy to help! To configure LACP and use it as a trunk port on a CBS switch using the CLI, complete the following steps. 1. Enter the Global Configuration mode: CBS350# configure 2. Use the interface range command to select the ports you want to configure for LACP. For example, to configure ports 1 and 2: CBS350(config)# interface range GigabitEthernet1/0/1-2 3. Set the LACP port priority (optional, default is 1): CBS350(config-if-range)# lacp port-priority 1 4. Assign an LACP timeout to the interface (default is long): CBS350(config-if-range)# lacp timeout long 5. Exit the interface configuration mode: CBS350(config-if-range)# exit 6. Set the system priority for LACP (optional, default is 1): CBS350(config)# lacp system-priority 1 7. Configure the port-channel interface to be a trunk: CBS350(config)# interface port-channel [number] CBS350(config-if)# switchport mode trunk 8. Save the configuration (optional): CBS350# copy running-config startup-config We hope this information helps!

Hi, for the configuration "license smart reservation install <code>" do the device need to able to connect to the CSSM ? My device is in a air-gapped environment, thanks.
@CiscoSystems3 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks for your question! In an air-gapped environment, the device does not need to connect to the CSSM for PLR. You can generate a reservation request code from the device and use it in the CSSM portal to reserve a PLR license and generate an authorization code. This authorization code is then entered into the device to make the license reservation effective, without requiring electronic communication with CSSM. We hope this information helps!

We need to restart Express C or Express E first ?
@CiscoSystems5 күн бұрын
Hi there, thanks for reaching out! The restart sequence for an Expressway cluster involves restarting the primary peer first, regardless of whether it is Expressway-C or Expressway-E. After the primary peer is accessible via the web interface, you should check the cluster replication status and then restart other peers one at a time, if required. We hope this information helps!

Great video, Cisco. Looking forward to your next upload. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your breakdown of the EOS and EOL processes was really helpful. Have you considered discussing the implications of end-of-life products on cybersecurity in small businesses?
