He accidently mixed up the verses, but does it flawlessly,! "Do you wanna be the singer" verse should have been "player" but he sings that later, and makes no difference. He sings all of the lyrics. I love this video. He should have created his own band and found an awesome producer. His ballads are what really made ELP famous. For me Emerson's style is just too alternative for me. Miss you Greg! You were awesome, and played a 12 string so easily. Amazing musician. Surprised he did not write more amazing ballads. His best songs were written when he was very young. I bet Emerson was fighting him not to record such ballads. It was not really the bands style of music. But, I do like some of the cool things Emerson added to this song, using a Moog keyboard, etc.

I took advantage of his genius back in the day. Wow! Greg's masculine voice was powerful! as was Emersons Keyboard skills and Palmers electric Precussion. My opinion ?, Greatest progresive band next to Pink Floyd. On my epitath!

Keeps the throat moist, hehe. You can surprisingly get a very dry throat while singing, and makes it very hard to talk, much less sing. Greg must have practiced singing while chewing gum previously or he would not have been comfortable and so relaxed here. He makes it look so easy to play a 12 string and without looking.
