Okay so after watching the new fionna and cake I was thinking about the time room and the wishes prismo grants. TLDR: it could’ve been avoided if they just stayed home If every wish he grants is a separate new universe, then Finn and princess bubblegum not understanding this concept is the spawn of the entire issue. If princess bubble gum had let the lich leave and told Finn and Jake to stay then the lich would’ve made his wish and a new universe would be created to carry it out. We see this universe that was created for this in fionna and cake. Finn makes his wish and a new universe is created where the lich is spread into the multiverse. Jake’s wish was to have the lich’s wish send them home instead, so there are now two separate wishes for the lich. One where he completely destroyed a universe, and one where he sent Finn and Jake home before Finn made his wish. The only way the lich finds a way back to their world is Finn’s wish universe. Finn’s wish carried on and the separate universe played out, but they accidentally chopped his arm and his disembodied hand enters many universes including their home universe. It’s just tragic that if they just stayed home and let him leave then everything would be fine.

Land of Ooo is maybe the world of full of quirks and magical weirdos, but some aspects like raining knives, a deer with human hands, a snail that turned out to be a reincarnated The Lich watching anyone over, and the list goes on and on makes this place look dangerous than it has any right to be. Considering a lot of adventures that Finn went through, it's no wonder why he's built different.

Actually there’s a reason the animation wasn’t the best is because there was only one animator that was doing the episodes by they’re self and honestly I think they tried they’re hardest trying to do what they can to animate it so hope that can give everyone a understanding
