Great review! I suggest Clear slime. I don't see why it wouldn't work. You could also use mod podge dimensional magic. It dries clear. You could use the plaid window cling liquid stuff. The crystal clear could work.

Excellent finds. Love that sleigh. I went thrifting at Goodwill yesterday and I found a few birthday goodies. I was over the moon about it all. Now I just need to wash everything. Yay I guessed right!! :D Was the real Maria doll originally a Color Magic doll? If so, maybe that's why the color changed over time? Otherwise, I know some of the Julia dolls from the 60s have had the hair change from the original brunette color to a bright red color, through some kind of chemical reaction that just happened randomly. What an interesting mystery - and the real Maria is pretty either way, and so are the other 2! :)
