Thank you for sharing this helpful video! I am having issues with the pedal intermittently not working. You mentioned yours was previously loose and taking it part and cleaning it fixed the issue. What exactly did you do and how? Thanks again!

Does anyone use d maglights anymore? There are so many smaller lighter brighter options.
@vinceletoАй бұрын
@@HansZarkovPhD I still have a few and I converted the bulb to a LED version. I like that they were made in USA, not sure about the new ones. A smaller lighter flashlight doesn't make nearly as loud a thud when you hit someone with it 🤣

Always found out take a little bit and put it in a pan on a hot plate, let it get hot if it bubbles and pops means water is in you're transmission, the fuild smokes and burns, best to catch it early if not it will destroy you're transmission..

How far down did you put the perforated pipe in the baseline?
@vinceleto2 ай бұрын
@@perfect1150 about 4 inches. We also over the years added alot of Turface. Turface mixed with the clay allows for drainage through out. I would start with the Turface as it will lead to less compaction through out the infield. The drainage ditches we dug at the dugout entrances work really well, we used big sprinkler boxes and they just remove the water with a bucket

Follow up, the airbags themselves are fine but Firestone recommended bag is shorter than the airlift recommended bag. Because of that the airlift from my direct experience is better. I'm actually thinking of calling Firestone on this as I installed them for a trip we took and because they don't take up the majority of the spring the van bounces more than the airlift. Firestone, if you buy airbags you want a lift when loaded not ride comfort when not loaded.

The side steps in the beginning of this video are good with just Portland but little to zero traffic on those. Would it be ok to make the paint a bit thicker to smooth out the concrete driveway over some heavy spalding? like adding sand say 1 to 1?
Buy rapid set mortar mix. Mix a small amount at a time and work fast. Much more durable for your overlay

You shouldn’t be using chemical weed killers on that infield dirt. The ball touches the dirt, the kids touch the ball, the kids put their fingers in their mouths. Invest in a weed hoe. It has a D-shaped hollow ring that will slice right through the roots and rip them out of the ground. They cost $25 from any hardware store. Hit your infield once or twice a week at 10 minutes a piece and it’ll look MLB ready.

there are two metal straps that wrap around all the sections. can those be removed permanently? They don't appear on any parts diagrams, and they need to be removed if you want to take the dome off to brush down the sections.
@vinceleto Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure but I would imagine there is some sort of sealing material on that dome to contain the combustion gas. So I would say don't remove it. Further, if it's so bad that you need to scrape it then it's probably time for a new boiler
