If you try and change your character you lose the fight completely. So don't do that. Just fight him 3 times with the character you are dealt with.

There's a 0.001% chance that they'll use mk11 Sindel. The writers and especially Ed Boon would know everyone hated it, so they wld not let that go ahead

It would be an interesting way of having some of the invasions bosses (which represent klassic versions of some characters) repurposed as hidden unlockables. Keep Floyd as the hard to find challenger, the others could be found doing simpler tasks in the klassic Towers or Towers of Time perhaps. Also a fun way to incentivize free skins via actual gameplay (not counting the hordes of recolors in invasions with the occasional banger or non recolor thrown in as of recent.)
