After thinking it over the Seahawks are still 4-5. Hopefully after the bye week they can come back stronger and beat the 49ers we'll just have to see. Hope you enjoyed the video!

How will the trade this week of linebackers with the Titans help the Seahawks in Week 8 ?

Well for starters Ernest Jones has been a great linebacker in the NFC West with the LA Rams putting up 300+ tackles. He's also a really athletic middle linebacker and will probably be picking off some passes over the middle. This in my opinion is a really good trade that's why the Seahawks had to give up a 4th pick in 2025 as well as Jerome Baker. Also remember that Ernest Jones is also 24 so now you have a pairing of Tyrel Dodson at 25 and Ernest Jones at 24 so this linebacking core is really young. He will need a contract extension at the end of March however, if the Seahawks can get that done he could really be a cornerstone for this Seahawks linebacking core for years to come.

I think he could be a great player for the Bears and the good news is he is only 27. So, if he has a good year the Bears could then sign him to a contract extension. My biggest problem with Taylor was that he is only a pass rusher. He is kind of a liability in coverage.

I understand that he had 21.5 sacks in 3 years and that is a good achievement. However the reason why I said he is just okay is due to how the Seahawks organization saw him as a player. Players like Derrek Hall and Boye Mafe have both outclassed him and he was relegated to a rotational pass rusher. So although his sack numbers look good they were never going to be able to keep him on the roster. He's still a good player and I hope he can get some playing time for the Bears but as for the Seahawks. The new regime wanted to go in a different direction.

Jason Myers and PJ Walker were the main reason we lost but it’s preseason it was good in the first half after haft time there was too many penalties.

Gonna be tough playoffs to predict this year. Have a few games that are gonna be significantly impacted by the weather, and not team as been particularly dominant this season. Everyone has shown some weaknesses. Look forward to the recaps.

What I hate about all of this is that *no one* seems to know wtf the problems are in Seattle. Some have identified play-calling as one part of it. JSN for instance isn't being used to the best of his ability. Some say Geno is playing it too safe. But that doesn't explain why there are so many plays where he & the receivers aren't connecting. Is it the locker-room atmosphere? Is that on Carroll? Geno? It makes zero sense to me that this is something that can't be fixed if these players Want To Win. So if they don't, then why not? They have good enough players to have won some of the games they've lost, especially against the Rams. I seriously Do Not Know what the problems in Seattle are.

Yeah I was really not happy with the Seahawks in this performance! They really need to step it up and show up next week because if we go down into a 3 game losing streak. Our chances of the playoffs could be over. We will see what happens in week 13 against Dallas in another Thursday night clash. Hopefully we can get the win there and improve to 7-5.

Gino Smith was good enough but no offensive line in front of him. 4 sacks given up. DK Metcalf needs to sit. Undisciplined. Led by the defense this was definitely a winnable game.
