The year where Patrick Mahomes has the highest WAR per dropback in the league among QBs, a 15-1 record (didn’t play the last game), the 1 seed in the AFC, and has played lights out down the stretch? I’m not taking away from Tom Brady’s excellence or even saying that Mahomes is by any means “the greatest of all time,” but the silliness of not giving the man his dues after the near decade he has had is silly. We can appreciate both these players and be thankful we get to witness both their excellence in the NFL as fans of the game.
