To add to the other comment: I use 1,2,3,4,5,6 shift 1,2,3,4,5,6, alt 1,2,3 F, C, R, T, X, Z, Shift S, shift of all those letters, 7, G , V, And buffs I use Crtl 1,2,3 Mount is shift space I hope that helps , it will improve your reaction time! Good luck man!

Have you ever seen the scene in austin powers with the steam roller that goes 1 mph and the gaurd who is 50 yards away screaming to stop before he gets crushed 55 seconds later. Ya This guy had a slower reaction time than that gaurd.

Rule number one, never use mana shield in those situations!🥺😅 Utilise Frost nova (rank 1 always), rank 1 frost bolt, cone of cold, or even your Ice armor slow, and don’t turn your back to the mob. Also when you jump, your frost nova / cone of cold get a bigger range but you’re also able to be melee hit from further away, so don’t turn your back or you can again get dazed :) gl mate

@@Crocky-01mana shield basically stopped you from doing anything , blink or frost nova ! 😋 mana shield is like the very very last thing you do, say nova and blink are on CD and you’ve only got a manapot, u can use it to try survive at your final breath

1,2,3,4 Q,E,R,T,F,C,X,Z 12 buttons on a naga mouse If you dont have the mouse use Shift with all the above keybindings.. Thats generally a good start and most optimal keybindings

usually I'd put blink on S keybinding to get rid of back pedal but on classic it's okay to keep your back pedal imo

also don't use mana shield when low on mana like that. It's a bad habit that will get you killed had you of not used it you would've had frost nova or blink up to escape smoother

General rule for any game is side buttons on a mouse become a modifier such as CTRL, ALT, SHIFT. And some mouses you can also change the keybind on scrollwheel click.

@Crocky-01 I play a shadow priest on retail so I have about 14 million keybinds. But some people use a combination of number keys and keys around "w,a,s,d" some people use buttons on a mouse l, and alot of people use a combination of both. Start slow, try binding your more important spells and defensives, and force yourself to turn your character with right click and move with w, and the strafe keys. It'll feel awful at first for you, but when you get the hang of it you'll wonder why you ever did it any other way.

@Crocky-01 I personally use a Razer Naga with all the side buttons with shift, alt, and ctrl, modifier, plus r,f,g,c,t, with those same modifiers. I raid lead so I have marking and world markers bound as well. Way too many buttons but its just ingrained in my brain at this point.

The community has obviously changed over the years but there are still pockets of folks who are long time players just trying to share the game they love with others.
