No not at all, considering that's what their basis look like irl. I guess you could call it Bash and Dash in an "RWS style".

Um thanks, but I didn't make the model, Wild Nor Wester, the guy who created the character originally, is the one who deserves the credit, all I did was change the lamps on him to the TV series style lamps.

@aplane9625 that is exactly what they would look like if more closely related to their basis locomotive. A gypsy logging locomotive. If you look up the design to fit the face, the fronts would have to be extended.

I have no idea how I missed that while editing, but then again the pause thing tends to blend in with the background making it hard to spot out, so, um, good eye.

It came down the the fact that the engines simply can't control themselves and no doubt half of the crazy stuff that happened in the original show ex: Thomas going down Morgans Mine, jumping the vicarstown bridge, Percy going on the ship with Gator, etc the engines would've had to have talked to their crews about it, as a again they can't drive themselves. Because of this I decided to give the crews more prominence and character then what the original show or RWS did with them. That and it was the simple fact that no one ells in the fanbase had come up with the idea.

@@sodorpro Just to see the mindset of the crews in moments like that in the show would be incredible fun to see. Maybe some kind of episode that's a compilation of the staff talking to the camera about their perspectives.
