Had one just like that. Didn't last a week. Unscrewing the old gauge, you've already invested more effort than the thing is worth. There is a better one, but beware. The tire has to have some pressure in it, else, no go. So, having just patched a tire or tube, it won't inflate it.

Haha! It might seem that way 😅 Right after this video, I put permatex ultra blue on it and let it cure. I have not revisited it yet, but I figure it will need to be wired or attached in place now to keep it from blowing off under pressure ❤ I hope it works 😁

Ive seen so many bad/cheap mechanical gauges over the years, especially ones on air pumps, that I don't even trust them anymore. I've got a digital hand guage that is accurate to 0.1 PSI and I use that to check pressures. If i overshoot by a bit I just let a little air out and check again.

We did the opposite. Have a mopar 440 in our motorhome, and couldn't keep it idling/running with the carter. Found a Quadra jet off an old Chevy, rebuilt it and put it on the 440. Mileage doubled, it idled and still runs like a champ.

Great video! As someone who has three of these, I would say that your price is fair for the car in it's present condition. If you are able to edit the video, a good shot at the lower quarter panels, including the trunk turn downs, would be something I would want to see if I were in the market for a 4th (I'm not) Other buyers may be interested to see their condition. Good luck with the sale

It's a shity design on my dodge van it's so easy to remove that cover with the chevy you have to remove so much shit to get to the engine I am modifying my seats so they can be unlocked to remove them easy for 60 thousand dollars they could have made this crap much easier to get to the engine instead of tearing up half of the van to remove a God damn cover and everything is snap in which they end braking after you remove them see what you have to do to replace the stario on this vans it's crazy I just cut around it and installed a bezel for easy access

@fixaddiction4 ай бұрын
@skypopshow sorry to hear that. what is preventing gas from going into the tank? I can't fathom how a rollover sensor going bad also makes the gas tank bad. Thankfully, my chevy still works fine, except the airbag system usually will not work when the airbag light is illuminated- which it is- due to the ROS.

how did you end up fixing the kickstart?
@fixaddiction4 ай бұрын
So with it being my first time, I'm not exactly sure that I fixed anything. I did not look up this procedure before doing it. I was able to inspect and put it back together correctly and have it work. I've never had a Honda that didn't have a right hand kick-start like a regular motorcycle. This whole windup kick-start was new to me. Since then I have cranked and cranked on it and it has not failed. That's one fun little scooter I can tell you that
@fixaddiction4 ай бұрын
And with the brake cable being broken on the left side which is what releases the spring it may have been wound up and not released making the kickstarter feeling like it's jammed and I had no idea that it was a ratchet at the time it might have been fine but I'm glad I took it apart and inspected and got a nice fresh oil back in there

You had my interest until i saw it could not be driven--I *thought* the price too good to be true. I sold my gold one in 1993 or so for $500--working perfectly. Don't ask. I never stop looking for one. I'd prefer the Torqueflite transmission, too. Beggars can't be choosers! This is very nice.
@fixaddiction4 ай бұрын
Sorry to disappoint. I will find a good motor or have this one rebuilt if nobody buys the car as-is... then keep it. But until then, it would make a great car for a good father/daughter project 😁
