Super! Would you be so kind to write down how to do play (launch) midi clip from digitakt? Thanks!
@davidfalconmusic7 ай бұрын
Hi! On one of the 8 midi tracks you have to enable them (Funct + click the first encoder on the source page) and select a midi channel. On the device that generates the sound and receives the midi info, a daw or any hardware device, select the same channel and that's about it. There are many tutorials on youtube explaining it, and the manual is very helpful as well! ;)
@nefertiti9797 ай бұрын
@@davidfalconmusic Thanks man, yes I tried. I'm able to play a VST in ableton from digitakt, in chromatic mode too, no problem at all. I just can't trigger the midi clip. But thanks, I will read the manual again.
@davidfalconmusic7 ай бұрын
@@nefertiti979 I didn't understood what you meant before. You want to lauch a midi clip you have in the daw in sync with the DT right? I'd say in the midi settings of the DT activave the Clock and Transport Send. That way when you hit play on DT the Daw should start playing in sync. Hope that is what you meant!
@nefertiti9797 ай бұрын
@@davidfalconmusic No it's not what I meant :) but i guess I'm not explaining myself well, so thank you so much for your patience. I know how to sync Digitakt (as Master) with Live (slave). What I can't do is doing what you do in your video. When you hit play, Midi track A and B start (because they are unmute), then you unmute Midi track C (together with Audio track 4) , then you mute it, then you unmute Midi track D (with Audio track 1) and so on. This I can't. I can't trigger Midi Clip in Ableton (where I load some VST as you did) from Digitakt, even if I set the same Midi Channel. I'm wondering what I'm missing. Thanks, again.

Cual prefieres este senquencial pro 3 o el minilogue Xd?
@davidfalconmusic9 ай бұрын
Espero haber ayudado!

What do you prefer? The Enzo or the Dream Sequence…are they the same?
@davidfalconmusic Жыл бұрын
Well, they are very different pedals, hard to compare... Dream Sequence is sequencing octaves of your signal while the Enzo is way more versatile, and on top of that is a synth but harder to tame. That said, I like the DS for adding slow movement to drones or pads. Reproducibility on the enzo can be an issue if you plan to use it live, even using presets. Hope this helps.

Amazing. Two of my three “all I need” pedals Add the Helix Stomp upfront with microcosm in the effects loop… get the amp sims from the helix and out through the polymoon to house… Three piece band- lead bass, drums, and these sounds like a space orchestral symphony
@davidfalconmusic2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a very cool setup! I tried the HX and even though I liked the sounds I found myself tweaking the sounds constantly so it had to go away. Still looking for the definite amp sim for me...
@mattg10942 жыл бұрын
@@davidfalconmusic Yeah. I totally agree with you on the tweaking... HX allows me to get my sounds saved for each song... so once i tweaked it- i just keep it for the "flavor" of that song (modulation and amps specifically). But doesnt matter what... can't go wrong with the ambient wash underneath everything... I really like to keep the Microcosm mix like <20% (barely noticable) and play my whole 3+ hour sets with it... It always give the feeling theres more than just a bass player, guitarist, singer and drums...

Very Nice! I like the variety caused by the filter. Have you used stock sounds or does this contain a 3rd party osc?
@davidfalconmusic2 жыл бұрын
If I recall correctly I was using the user oscillator to create the percussive elements of the jam. Could not tell you which one exactly, but the ones I have installed are the Mutable Instruments emulations. I think it was one of those, but something similar could be achieved with a noise oscillator... One feature that is useful is that many user oscillators have a built in filter, so if you bypass this oscillator from the main filter (it is a menu parameter) you can controll them separately. Hope this helps! Have fun :D
