I don’t understand the hula hoop analogy, I’ve heard this a couple times

To describe the swing plane of the bathead, if we are swinging slightly up from level, it is a "straight line" when viewed from the side but when viewed from above it is circular / rotational and looks like a hula hoop is around the hitters body with the bathead following it.

I need this type of swing analysis. I used to play baseball but this is my first season playing slowpitch. I’m having trouble putting everything together barely hitting 280-300’ on a good day. Where do you guys do this class? I’m in Savannah GA. Do you guys do virtual swing analysis?

Nihilist or Flipper..any year will be better with 52 cor balls than the Overlord..if you playing 44 375 asa, then the overlord is very good.

Helmer has / had a great oversnap swing and is one of my favorite swings of all time....cuts thru the ball on a straight line......hard to see from this angle. This is a horrible angle to try and see mechanics but it was actually "cool" and unique back in 2009 ha. Now i could do without it. -Bret VB

@@SWINGMAKEOVER maybe I misunderstand then. I remember seeing a video on your page that talked about the difference but can't find it anymore. What is the difference? Just recently turned my tournament team onto your channel, it's amazing.

What do you think is the shelf life on this bat? And do you think it can sustain 44 core balls? My previous bat miken freak mf20ma broke on me twice now looking for the best durable bat possible

Good for breaking the bat in but then you want to shy away from hard balls. -Bret

Would 44 COR balls hurt this bat?
@SWINGMAKEOVER
@SWINGMAKEOVER 5 жыл бұрын
Good for breaking it in. Once it is game ready (which only took me 25 - 50 swings with Evil BP balls) I would stick with low compression or just keep it in the batbag. Break-in time will vary.

Have you hit the ASA Nhilist? Thoughts? Is Demarini making a 12’ bat then to replace the USA Flipper?

What’s the break in time?? I’ve been swinging a Z3000 30oz end load for years, thinking it’s almost time to get something new. I don’t play a ton, so I’d like something fairly hot out of the wrapper.

Hey man, just wanted to say I LOVE your videos. They REALLY helped me visualize what my veteran teammates have been trying to tell me. But I do have a question. What tee do you use? I've been shopping around for a good slowpitch tee that you can set up high but all I'm finding are the traditional baseball tees. Thanks!
@SWINGMAKEOVER

thanks! thegtee.com We love the G-Tee and they do not tip over. No more tee on top of a 5 gallon pail ha. If you call them direct they will give you a Swing Makeover discount...they are around 90-100$ but worth it.

You don't have to move so much. I've crushed softballs with steady mechaniques. These guys think that tucking in your leg will genaerate more torque. it's the hipps, not the legs

Imu it takes some time to learn how to control that bat man. But it does help you hit it harder and farther just like Helmer says. Just takes some time to learn how to put the ball all over the field
