Just got insurance...I'm 61 and just need something to cover my funeral costs..qualified for 50k...it won't cost that much but my kids got a couple bucks for them.. 66.85/month. Retired with arthritis..nonsmoker. no cancer. Never mentioned being aboriginal tho,as I am aboriginal. Don't know what difference that would make.

Hi Scott. I saw your presentation on IAD in Michigan a couple months ago. 1) Can you tell me what happens if a person lists they have Medigap and a PDP rather than an MA as in your presentation? I'd like to know if the system still asks for doctors and hospitals in that situation since it really doesn't apply to those folks, causing them to be unnecessarily concerned that there policy was changing in some way from what they were told about not needing to worry about networks. 2) Also, what percentage of surveys are coming back to you via email, or phone calls from beneficiaries who have not completed the form correctly or entirely, or need help doing so? I appreciate any answers to these questions because I have found that with seniors, many don't seem adept at providing the information requested the first time they are asked. It often requires a follow-up request for the info, such as ALL their doctor's full name, dosages of meds and so forth no matter how much it is stressed initially. So I am wondering if Retire Flo is having the same issue at times, or if it has helped much in that area. Being that the person is able to proceed with the survey even if they do not answer some questions, it may not save as much time as anticipated because of the follow-up needed. A case of a good feature, but a possible drawback of getting incomplete surveys back? IDK Thanks much for any clarification.

Thank you very much for this podcast. I am less than a year old in the Medicare space, brand new in insurance, and truly independent. And it feels terrifying!😱😱 Would it be better for a new agent to be with an FMO/IMO who is located in the same geographical area?
@iadbrokerage Жыл бұрын
Hi Tree of Life! We're excited to hear that you've started your journey as an independent agent! We're rooting for you and your business success! In regards to your question about being geographically close to your FMO/IMO; the answer is, it depends! It depends on how you learn, and how the FMO teaches or delivers information to their agents. If you're the type of person that truly benefits from having an extremely personal, in-person 1:1 experience in regards to sales training, then yes; being geographically closer to your FMO/IMO will be important for your success. However, if you're more of a visual or auditory learner, then you don't have to be within a certain geographical distance from your FMO. Today's technology & resources allow us to provide the necessary training and education to our agents, even if they're not in the same state as us. Here at Insurance Advisors Direct, we have industry partners and producing agents all over the country! Our office is located in Novi, Michigan; but we have agents in Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Texas, Maryland and more! We provide live training sessions via webinars, & provide them as KZbin content here on our channel for our agents to refer to again at a later date. We also provide specific product information and trainings to our agents via email or social media to help them succeed, because we believe that knowledge is power and leads to passion and success in the industry. Please give us a call if you have additional questions about us, & see if we'd make a great fit for you as your industry partner! (800) 381-0977
