How do I review my answers when the answers are not shown in the window that we navigated to?
@dr.d.452 жыл бұрын
That may depend on the settings your teacher has set. You may not be able to review answers until all students have taken the quiz. Best to ask your professor his question.

why is the force generated with multiple stimuli more than when it is a single stimuli? Is there waves shown because there is time for rest?

Pls what was happening at the maximum force
@dr.d.453 жыл бұрын
With increasing voltage more fibers are recruited to contract. At maximal stimulus all muscle fibers are recruited generating a certain amount of force which does not increase with an increase in voltage because we are already recruiting all muscle fibers.

I am so confused with the last experiment , Why was there no wave form and why did the quick drop off happen?
@dr.d.454 жыл бұрын
Daisy the rate of stimulation is so fast that the muscle does not get any time to rest (down stroke of the wave). It is in a state of tetany which causes it to fatigue over time causing a reduced force production as time continues.
@daisyrey114 жыл бұрын
@@dr.d.45 So can this also be incomplete Tetanus? Also, thank you so much for replying.
@dr.d.454 жыл бұрын
@@daisyrey11 this would be complete tetanus the simulation before where force increased would be incomplete

Hello Lisa, This video is very relevant to my current study, however I do not see part 3 of this video. I was really looking forward to Part 3. Hope you can upload Part 3 soon. The basics are clearly explained and very easy to understand especially when I do not hold much knowledge in this area myself.

Lisa, you should activate computer-generated captions. They're usually fairly terrible, but they could be useful *toward* providing *real* and accurate captions.
