Sylvanas ! ❤❤❤

I've watched a lot of different people react to SC2 cinematics and many of the compilations they watch leave out a very important dialogue/trigger when it comes to Heart of the Swarm because it takes place during gameplay. Before the final mission, Reckoning, when Valerian asks Kerrigan to avoid civilian sectors he and Matt turn to Raynor to gage his reaction. It zooms in on Raynor as if he is in thought or contemplating whether he was too quick to dismiss Kerrigan (back when she busted him out) After a set amount of time in mission Kerrigan notes a familiar presence. It cuts to Raynor bringing the Hyperion down and setting up a forward base to fight along side Kerrigan. In this moment we know that Raynor hasn't given up. (cut to the breakout scene "You were the only one that believed in me. Do you still believe in me?") Your win/lose conditions change to add that the Hyperion must survive. It may seem like another protection based objective but Raynor actively builds up a force and sends them to attack. He gives you cues which allows the player to decide "Do I push with Raynor and hammer down on this one spot or let him distract while I attack from another angle?" The final cinematic where he just appears and crushes Mengsk's remote makes more sense too. The player knows that Raynor's been in this fight the entire time. I know I'm a year late but it just goes to show that a lot of the story is told in the gameplay because that is the bulk of how the player interacts with the story. Starcraft 1 did this beautifully because of the way it chose do its narrative. To give the character a role in the universe and have characters speak directly to them opposed to SC2 where you follow a character and just make decisions for them.

Did you ever get around to playing this? It'd be nice to know if your questions were answered and your misunderstandings were clarified. There is a lot of context and important pieces off information that were not included in these cutscenes/cinematics, but in the gameplay instead.

They spoiled us in BFA but sadly (in my opinion) Sylvanas didn't land the mark as the bad guy in my book. There's nothing interesting about the twists they took with her character at this time. The power ups would have been fun in the hands of a character that made any kind of sense at all. She betrays all of her values.... entirely offscreen. The jailer justifications don't come till later. The least realistic thing in BFA is the idea that Bane couldn't literally crumple her pathetic undead sack ass to the cheering of literally every character in their presence at any given time. The War-Chief is such a nebulous title that appears to generate new authorities whenever Sylvanas needs it to. So we're supposed to believe there's NOTHING the war chief can do that would have them dethroned? A position that THRALL GREEN JESUS set up has the total dictator authorities that Sylvanas would conveniently need later? Can't make it make sense. Even people who are die hard sylvanas struggled to like her bullshit. I would die on the hill that the only imperfection of BFA was Sylvanas's -F tier writing. If it wasn't written by some edgy 12 year old I could enjoy entirely the same events with my suspension of disbelief in tact. The voice actor's line "I trusted you." when she had varok on his knee was so fucking potent. But I feel it for just one second as I'm casually reminded that the m.night shamalam twist is that she was powered up offscreen by some entirely non-existent retcon we don't get to meet yet. Shadowlands was a mistake. Fight me.

I really enjoyed your SC2 reactions. It’s pretty confusing for someone watching the first time, but you hung in there. ☺️

Quintus shows how bad the empire had gotten. He knew if the empire fell apart the vassal nations would rebel in retaliation.(the 12th tried to take bozja for themselves and fell apart) If the allied nations invaded (they did in their eyes) they would oppress garleans and hunt the leaders to atone for the crimes of empire. War trophies to killed or made to watch garlean suffer. Quintus wouldn't allow that. The rank and file followed his orders they are innocent they could claim. and he would rob them of their trophy. What's sad is he didn't know the enemy learned that the empire was used by higher powers to be evil. They were there to save them from the acians. Even his best friend emperor Varis didn't tell him his grandfather wasn't even garlean and the empire was founded by a corrupted truth.

There is always evil to fight for are enemy is looking to destroy humanity but the emperor of mankind givin us his strength to do his will❤❤❤🤓🤓🤓

The monster thimg in the 1st video was a tyranid hive ships The tyranids are essentially a hive mind that exists entirely to consume all biomass in the galaxy They came from beyond the galaxy emerging continuously from multiple directions causing catastrophic destruction in their wake

A lot of lore/story content is relegated to the seasons so to get the full stories, you'd need to watch the seasons or watch Byf or other Lore videos.

I know its been 10 months but just in case you didn't already learn this with that dr chick with the glasses who in the next video turned into a zerg those 2 videos were an either or choice, you could choose to purge the infected terran civilian colony to stop the infestation from spreading or you could save the colony and let dr. valen cure the infestation which she is fairly confident in being able to do if you purge the colony she gets desperate and tests a not properly working prototype of the cure on herself only to turn herself into a zerg if you save the colony then she develops the cure then leaves with the colonists to build a new colony Its a similar situation with tosh and the prison break or where nova assassinates him. PS the cutscenes only tell you so much, a good deal of the story you learn from the gameplay so if you want to know the full story the best way is to play the game. but that said Kerrigan was taken over by the zerg but in the final mission of wings of liberty they use that alien artifact to strip most of the zerg dna from her turning her back into a human. but mengesk wants her dead anyway because she is the most powerful human psycic and he betrayed her long ago so he doesn't want someone like her free and as his enemy.

im late as hell but i tell you witch is what the red colored protoss are called tal'darim the outcasts and fanatics that are kinda pirates and are called to be the most hostile protoss faction you can often find the ones with green are called dark templar the people that are also kinda outcasts but are not as hostile as red ones and then we have templars witch are often with color blue there is also an old templars program that witch was shut down called the purifiers an war machines that gone rouge due to old templar council treating them like machines and not people the purifiers were old worrors that fell in battle and got another chance to fight as robots the dark templar and templars hated eachother doe to dark templar not wanting khala the templars called them heretics

The annoying thing about only watching cutscenes is that it misses key elements during the gameplay- stuff like taking down the almighty or killing ghaul which weren't "cutscenes" per se but were still important and cinematic weren't included. Shame you didn't get to see those parts, but enjoyed it regardless!

18:06 Yup, there's a reason for that. Warcraft started as a Warhammer game, but due to GW and corpo shenanigans, Blizzard just made Warcraft instead. Warhammer 40K is a sci-fi version of Warhammer that has since become much bigger and more popular than the original. StarCraft started as a knock off of WH40K, which has also grown into its own identity.
