Hi...love your videos....Question: the composted manure I buy from Home Depot has only 20% manure in it and 80% peat....they call it a blend.....Is yours the same?

So by EMT I'm guessing you refer to 1" galvanized pipe. Ah. 8 minutes reveal. lol. Very nice video. I will be using something similar shortly. Simple and effective (I have the same belt sander on my bench. ;-) If you're going indoors you can also check the cooking section of your store for aluminum cooking trays. Also, you can look for concrete reinforcement panels at your local home store which are similar to chicken wire, but with a smaller holes (and sharper edges).

So you know the difference the wasps that fly with there legs hanging below and behind them, they are the ones that eat the other wasps and bad insects they are also nicer than the short legged jerky moving ones that swarm on your bbq plate. Its almost better to leave those ones alone just the ones with short legs that walk in a jerky way. IF YOU KILL ALL THE HORNETS AND WASPS THE OTHER PESTS increase.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I live in Iowa and just bought a whole bunch of 8’ treated posts that were only in the ground for 4 years, so they are in phenomenal shape. However, I’m 31 and want them to outlast me. I am 100% doing this. (I’m also going to put 3 rows of 2x6 boards as well, but don’t want those to be black so I’ll have to settle for just normal green treated boards.) 2 questions and I apologize if someone already asked and you addressed 1) what is the rationale behind half used motor oil and half diesel, rather than 100% of one or the other? 2) and for the diesel, are you using standard diesel fuel that you’d buy at any old gas station? I want to do this right! Thanks in advance, sir!

Where I'm from we can make a trap something like that though we didn't never put a wheel on it we just used the rule.. and let it run up the yardstick and how to get to the bank but it would be something down there in the water and most of the time there is all coating the inside of the bucket at least most of the way up don't have to come all the way to the top but we would put oil in the water so that when they fell down into it or climb down into it they got a coating of all and so does the bucket from them jumping around on the inside of it only and it listens to chances of them hopping out from the hopping on each other and getting out or digging into the side of the bucket cuz they can climb straight walls y'all and it greatens the chance of them actually wearing their selves out and drown so it's just a little bit quicker I guess more humane. Which to me don't really matter when they're pest they're pest🤢 and they're disgusting nasty disease carrying creatures can cause disease in your animals in your home and your food they pack fleas and I mean there disgusting. They mate continuously ..And they rapidly get overpopulated. So you will come to desperate measures to get rid of these creatures or vermin.😅 Because it becomes very expensive unless you come up with something common sense like this method. I'm grateful to learn about the little rat wheel I mean that's handy and simple farm ingenuity, at its best! We country people like to use what we have around us to be able to get the problem solved, so you can get things done wo spending any or very little of your hard earned cash.. thank you for giving me thank you for giving me that little tip on an old family rat catching exterminating do-it-yourself ❤ trap

Thank y’all for showing me how to make ACV. One question I have is why do you have to put one cup of Braggs in with it? Curious because I hear so many bad things about them now since they were bought out. That’s the main reason for making my own.
@CaptainWingnut
@CaptainWingnut 23 күн бұрын
Adding some finished ACV with the mother helps speed up the process. That vinegar was most likely our home brewed.

Jut out of curiosity , Why do you pollenate it, does it not pollenate naturally. Or is it because of being in a green house
@CaptainWingnut
@CaptainWingnut 24 күн бұрын
Hi Penny. Thanks for the question. As I said at the first of the video, our night temps are too cool (@7,000 feet elevation) so we keep the curtains closed to maintain more heat but that keeps the honeybees 🐝(which were just off camera to my right) out and no natural pollination can occur. Plus we plant 3 varieties of winter squash adjacent to each other and we want to keep each variety’s DNA pure to have pure heirloom seeds for future planting. Thanks for watching.
