@@Strolling-in-Astana Sure, globalization had made it possible, but on the other side there are human beings who behave voluntarily like that. I have been travelling intensely during the last ten years and the sight of millions of people in "adidas/northface/puma" things, everybody yelling into their smartphones, so many people feeding on fast food, etc., isn`t that the beginning of the end?

@@user-yp2mw2ko9k I try to think more positively😀. But you're right, the current state of civilization, from climate to people's behavior and culture, doesn't add optimism and a sense of comfort.

@@lifeskills2000 Well, now we are getting closer .... Everything that is to be considered beautiful is a relict from the past, be it architecture, music, the fine arts, even technical achievements. Do you remember how great cars looked and felt way back then, how individually they looked and felt? Today you have to take a sharp look to distinguish a Mercedes from Toyota and they are mostly black, grey or white. And let`s not begin to talk about the mindsets of modern people - by now two generations of children, at least in the west, have been told that their ancestors are guilty of "killing the environent/waging wars/having been colonizers/racists,etc.", they consider themselves as the righteous navel of the universe (by now they "are saving the climate", probably the next step will be cleaning the solar system 😁). And manners are completely gone - people take a seat next to you, be in on a park bench, in the theatre, airplane and instead of noticing their neighbour, they start yelling into their smartphones... I have been travelling intensely during the last years and in every hotel it is the same picture: a family enters the breakfast room, they chose a table, go to the buffet and whoever sits first, start to eat, just like pets - cats and dogs don`t wait for anybody either nor do they say a prayer, they just dip their snouts into the food. But if you see anything that inspires optimism, please tell me, I really would like to know.

@@user-yp2mw2ko9k Unfortunately, or fortunately, we won't know that. I suppose, within our lifetime (50-100 years), there won't be dramatic changes for humanity
