What is that bird you hear in the background around 6:30-6:35?
@Sindrijo3 ай бұрын
That's a Common Loon doing it's tremolo call, the bird is mostly known for its haunting wail, so if you want to find more examples of it add "tremolo" to your search.

Absolutely stunning views Denis, you are so lucky to have all of that on your doorstep. Donna certainly hasn't slowed down. Great walking Donna. By the way I have named the 'unnamed' beach for you to D&D's beach in your honour. Luv ya C.

Hi did you take passengers in this video. My wife and I are interested in doing a balloon ride over Canberra. We would like a balloon ride, and also take video for our youtube channel
@DenisBullock3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I was a passenger, one of 16, that flew over Canberra with a company called Balloon Aloft. If you want to book a ride with them I suggest you go to this website. balloonaloftcanberra.com.au/ Feel free to use my video on your KZbin channel.

Cheers Denis, I was wondering if there was a less daunting way up Yewbarrow rather than the dodgy looking north and south ridges. Just watched a drome footage of the mountain which showed the grassy slope I think you came up, and checked Wainwrights book which mentions it.
@DenisBullock4 жыл бұрын
We followed the path on the western side of Yewbarrow for about 3/4 of its' length, then zig zagged up the grassy slope hitting the top about midway. Hope this is of some help. Wouldn't recommend the northern or southern routes unless you're a confident rock climber.
