Great review, this gave points I didn’t see other people give about the movie. And I agree this and the original halloween are my favorites out of them all because theres so much layers and meaning thrown into ends that makes it super good to me, hopefully people turn and like this movie like what they season with season of the witch!

The story was done perfectly in one movie. Unless someone is going to do one accurate to the original comic, leave it alone. That version would work better animated anyway.

I have to admit I hate when all these movies can do when bringing back a character after so many years....is the kid(s)/family angle! But for this movie having her daughter fall for a dude who she finds out is actually dead....and a murderer, was a good spin for the second movie.

Good point I did like that about B2. When it seemed like we were gonna just get a lazy teen romance I was like, “ugh f this.”

I just can’t bring myself to watch this movie. I absolutely love the original. Nobody can do Eric Draven like Brandon. The movie is perfection. I just can’t bring myself to watch it new and I just can’t. I think they could’ve got somebody a lot better to do Eric Draven‘s character I may watch it when it comes on Netflix or something like that but as of now I just can’t pay to see it

That’s fair. I will say I don’t think they ever call him “Eric Draven” in the 2024 version. Just “Eric.” Still, maybe they should have named them completely different.

That's a b******* excuse I've been a fan since 9 years old when the movie came out 30 years later it is definitely not a great movie by any stretch but it has potential of being a cult classic if you're a fan of The Crow and the stories it's a different story in the crow universe and that's what I like about it
