Hey Ermmm, I pop up came up asking which operation to select to perform, it’s saying Update Reshade and effects or Update Reshade only. Idk what to pick 😭

You already have reshade installed if that popped up. Continue going through the steps to update reshade and everything should be working perfectly

Idk why Morbid chose the plants that she did. She left off some EA plants that were extremely common in Medieval England. Case in point are both parsley and garlic. Basil is less likely. It was grown in the 14th century in the Mediterranean and known in England but was probably not cultivated there for another hundred years. Cherries are another common medieval plant that Morbid left off the list for some reason.

I find the rules a little too complicated, so I'm going to follow them to the best of my ability. I agree with you, some of the rules make little to no sense, so I'm just going to do my own thing. Mainly so that way it doesn't eat into my enjoyment of the series.❤️

If you are playing Morbid's rules the side households' pregnancies are at 100%. The purpose of rolling for number of tries is so you don't have to keep track of percentages on side households. (If you aren't following Morbid's rules then nevermind).

There are only immediate death rolls in this challenge if you do the option of creating your founder's parents. The older generation has an immediate death roll. Your founder's only do when they age up or when you have a specific mortality event, like childbirth, etc. There is also no need for you to roll for the number of pregnancies. Your founder and heirs always get as many as you want using the fertility percentage for their ages. It's only side households that need to do pregnancy rolls and that's just so you don't have to keep track of fertility percentages for multiple households. (Nevermind: you got there. I'll shut up and watch your whole video now.)

It is still free on all platforms, I’m not entirely sure for how long it will be free for, however if you go onto the EA app and look up blooming rooms, you should be able to just click download. You can even go onto EAs website and see that it’s free on there.

I don't put them on the gallery because once I get done with all the townies makeovers, I plan to release a full CC save file with every townie having their completed makeover, but if enough people ask, I can put the links on patreon with the CC links as well.

if the sims 4 file when installing reshade doesn't usually appear since your doing a tutorial maybe you should show us which file to choose since there are program Sims 4 files and then the document files........ kind of defeats the purpose of tutorial.

The location of the sims 4 files determines on where you have your game installed, I have no way to tell where you have your game installed I can only show you what the files are to look for. No matter what, the sims 4 will be installed in your bin folder and the file will say TS4_x64. Also I don’t know what you’re talking about because you shouldn’t even be in the documents folder when installing reshade, you go to where the game is installed, not the Electronic Arts folder.

I need help!!! please i am so desperate. Every shader I try to use has a ton of effects that fail to compile. When you were installing reshade, did you click select all effects? I know that if I don’t click that, then all the required shaders don’t show up.

In the part where it says 'Selwct a game or application', the sims 4 doesn't show up, and im unsure of how to find it, may i have some help? I didnt download the sims 4 from steam, i got it from the EA website

The game doesn’t show up sometimes in the options, to find the game, you have to go to where you have the game installed to. I don’t know where your game is installed to, the best way to find out where your game is installed to is to look up the sims in the search bar in windows and then open file location. As a general rule of thumb, the game is in the bin folder, but it can vary depending on where you have your game installed.

Idk why but when I downloaded the reshade on the website it just won’t open and I’m stuck because I don’t know what to do I also tried to open it as administrator. When I click on it there’s no info about a problem nothing. Tried to open reshade now on another laptop the same thing also there’s now available version 6.0.1 maybe there’s an error caused by them?

After i select the sims 4 game there is no "Select preset to install", it straight up skips that part, and moves to the next. How am i supposed to install the presets now?

There are a few possibilities for that to occur, first being that you already have some form of reshade/gshade installed and it recognises that, secondly you might not be using the most up to date version of the reshade program. If the issue still persists, comment back and I will try to help you out a bit more.
