Naruto and Gaara are the same and have suffered in the same way, treated like monsters by their respective villages and therefore they understand each other and certainly only those who know that type of suffering and that pain can understand their fellow man and make him understand that he understands him and that all that anger and that hatred is more than justified since the only thing you would want is to tear apart everyone who hurt you and Naruto understanding Gaara and what he felt treated him like a brother and being the first to show him a feeling of love managed to make him see that not everyone is bad and deserves to die but that there are good people who like them must be protected precisely so that this nightmare does not repeat itself and moved by this Gaara found something worth fighting for and giving trust in the one who became his first true friend and brother.
