Dear Juno, none of you big sellers want to talk about the rip off of over 70 percent of earnings by Redbubble from artistes with standard accounts because it does not directly affect you. This is not fair, you promised to look into this last year. Redbubble is ripping off a whole 70 percent and even more from the income of sellers income and no is saying anything. How can you make a hundred dollars and be given less than 25 percent of it? That's robbery! Is there a governing body we can collectively report this crime to? They need to pay back all this money's they've been taking since over a year now, this is too bad.

It's most likely the luck of the draw or unluck in your case. More applicants than they can accept at one time

@DetourShirts I like patterns
@DetourShirts20 сағат бұрын
Hmmmm... than maybe phone cases, pillows, tote bags, etc. There are lots of options on RedBubble. If I were doing patterns I would concentrate on Phone cases but make sure to put it on all the product that it looked good on.

Why didn’t you use Adobe Fresco? It’s free and offers vector brushes along with all epic brushes, which became available a few months ago. I really enjoy using it, especially because it includes access to free fonts( not all). I think you should make a video exploring Fresco and its potential for print-on-demand projects, and share whether it’s a good option or not.❤

I wanted to learn Procreate since I already had it.... but Adobe Fresco might be fun to try

what size is tee font???
@DetourShirtsКүн бұрын
It really depends on the font the text you want to put on the tee. Make sure it fits inside that tall rectangle. It will be somewhere around 100-300

Hi, how are you? I saw your videos on teepublic, I uploaded my 6 designs and they made me an apprentice even though I have everything complete except the products. How do I become an artisan?
@DetourShirts19 сағат бұрын
It can take time... keep uploading designs that the TeePublic audience wants to buy. You could try designing for the tags they have.

Create designs that people want to buy. Give it at least a month to sell. If it's not selling try something else.

Hey Juna great video. On Affinity Designer, when you remove the background, how do you also remove the background that gets left inside letters like O or A?
@DetourShirtsКүн бұрын
You would have to select those as well or if you do the delete black background method it should go away

My Opinion after almost two years in POD: Amazon : very hard to get accept, and the competition it's high Etsy : it's not good not bad it's need a lot of work and effort 🤝 Teepublic : was good but now it's drop down the sales and they change most of designer category so you can't find in search Redbubble: not worth your time and effort 👎 Rest of website it's trash🚮 If you want to do POD you have to think about like as complete business open your store make your brand and do the marketing very well,, other wise find something else

Juna thank you for your pleasant and descriptive videos ! ❤ Just a question, why you put a black background for black tshirt? I mean, the print make t-shirt less breathable and more prone to make you sweat in warmer climate, at this point isn't better to minimise the printed area removing a background that get printed? so being the t-shirt already black you probably can avoid to print a black background.... please I'm guessing it from much time, a reply would be very appreciated🙏🏻
@DetourShirts2 күн бұрын
Yes you are right....I do the black background for AI so that the design turns out nice with the color and everything. I then remove the black background before I put it on a black t-shirt.
