I don't know if you take requests or if I can message you otherwise but I'd like some understanding on Paul's teaching in 1 Timothy concerning women church leaders vs what I see in churches and I am told in today's world. To me he clearly states it should not be, why it should not be and the requirements of the men who should be. But yet I see women preschers, my church has women deacons and the only answer I get from my pastor and deacons in the church (who are genuinely good people who I have learned much from) is that God can use anyone and they use Deborah's office of prophet and judge to say this is an example of why it is fine. So I am humbly asking if you can help clarify for me as I am diving into the word more than the average Christian in my church and have no one giving me a sound biblical answer but rather contradictions. When he says if your wife commits adultery to divorce her is that the same for a man then ? If he does the same? Or is a wife not meant to go ahead with a divorce? The role of a man yes but is it meant also if a woman divorced a man for that reason ?

How is it a.d. if he hadn't died yet.... That doesn't make sense

You shared your temple with someone who shares his/her temple with others. For me, the verse tells you what you understand. Divorce your wife only if she is unfaithful.

I'm confused about the placement of the word "and" there at the end. "And to keep oneself unspotted". Could the interpretation be, "by helping the poor and the widows, a person can keep themselves unspotted from the world"?
