If you turn the screw (the screw without the wing nut on it) upside down, with the flat part of the screw touching the bed, it will not dig into the bed. To adjust the clamp, turn both screws until they are flat with the material you are cutting. Then tighten the wing nut until its secure!

I would suggest based on the holes being in a straight line, you should build oversized, then cut the outside edges to the reference of the holes. That is, instead of trying so hard to keep the reference absolute to begin with.

I wish you had indicated the saw does not work well from the factory. I bought it but the fence is not square with the blade.

Thanks for your detailed videos from the FET :-) so one question: have you used a suction or vac on this table saw? if yes, how it is doing?

All I see for sale now is the 37070 model. It is not uncommon for online adds to show and older model that may not have the same features as the latest version.....sometimes and improvement, sometimes not.

Just received my 37070 and got the 36 tooth blade and the original 27070 style thick fence which I prefer.

Hello Harris, thank you for sharing your videos. I see you haven't uploaded in a while. I hope you're doing well. I just purchased this saw and waiting for delivery. I did see some comments online saying that the saw, when extended all the way out, has a lot of wobble/flex to it. Is this something you have experienced?

I bought a Proxxon FET today, and inspired by your You Tube Videos, I decided to start modifying it right away! There will be a lot of questions... What are the lengths of the profiles 20x40, 20x20 and 30x20? I thank you in advance! Excellent ideas, excellently executed!!!

I landed on this video because I also noticed that mine (exact same model) does not do exact 90 degrees. In fact it doesn't do exact 45 degrees either. When I cut 45 degrees on the both left and right hand side of the saw, then joining the two pieces together are miles off a full 90 degrees! I also noticed that it is possible to adjust the bevel plastic below, but the problem is that the bevel plastic is one whole piece and I need to reduce the angle on both sides of the saw, meaning the bevel plastic underneath can only move one way or the other. Reducing the angle on both sides, means I need the bevel plastic to be split in two pieces, so that would allow me to move them in opposite directions to have a perfect 45 on both sides. I cannot believe a saw of this cost/brand is so off that we cannot make a good enough 45 degrees angles. How does anyone with this saw manages to cut and join two 45 degrees pieces together?

Beware of breathing in dangerous glass dust if you do this! Wearing an n-95 mask or doing it underwater would solve the problem.

Great skills' If you enjoy spending a lot of time trying to make and expensive toy into something else. There are many other brands that do what you are creating , out of the box. The older model that Microlux sells, made in Japan is a better machine. Thank You

Thanks for just another helpful video from your side! Your FET videos helped me a lot. One question about the DH40 Thickness planer: Is it possible to insert timber which is grooved (90° cross feed direction) on the upside? I guess the licker-in and the feed roll are on the upside and the grooved side which I want to reduce thickness is also on the upside. Even if I would have to push it in manually would be okay to me. I just fear that the edges of the grooves might get disfigured...

Hello! Do You think that KS 230 could handle guitar neck fret slot cutting? Could you set the height of the blade to 3mm? Could it cut thicker wood (rosewood, ebony, etc.)? Thank you!
@bastian61736 ай бұрын
You cannot adjust the height of the blade in this saw. Slot cutting is no problem but you have to come up with a sled like Harris to set the appropriate height. Hard wood is no problem for it. As long as your not pushing too hard / deep

The motor cooling air is exhausted directly into the blade housing. With nlwhere else to go, the exhaust air then travels straight down onto the workpiece, and blows sawdust all over the inside of the garage. The dust collection funnels and vaccum attachment port are merely a formality.
