Martha Byrne should have played Lily at the end of the series

I remember being a little kid rushing home from school to watch As the World Turns and Guiding Light hate their gone

And the disgusting replacement of LILLY just because she didnt shed her baby weight. SOOOOO ridiculous, since Martha played Lilly from Day 1. That was the downfall for atwt

JJ was so much better than Parker. This actor should have played Parker. Should have kept JJ in the show.

Janet and Liberty were not needed on this show.

I was all for the energy Brad was giving to Parker. Once they aged Parker, his character became unbearable. He was obsessed with Liberty from beginning to end of the show. So cringe.

Carly was always looking for thee big score and getting with the wrong fit, the English and was wealthy, handsome and into her and she wanted her friends husband. Choices 😔

This day was missing, thanks for filling in the gap, jj looks more grown up with the haircut❤ nice to look back in time

Was a little girl when my mom was watching this in the 1960s, along with Guiding Light. Eventually, I started watching, and continued on until both soaps ended. ATWT was my favorite. Was devastated when it ended… Never understood why this show was cancelled. Still don’t! 🤷🏻‍♀️

5:38 Wow, so the show ended right after Lucke's new boyfriend the doctor died and this man got his heart . Fun Fact Elisabeth Hubbard AKA Lucinda Walsh actually Also did played Lucus's grandmother too . a different gay character on a Dutch Soap . she spoke English on the show in 19 episodes in 2009 .

They should have put Molly in Holden together cuz they're better together Lily did not deserve holden she took him for granted always chasing some guy and the funny thing is that she's married Carly and Holden look good together but I am Big Carly and jack Fan I don't really watch this season because Jack was being a total ass I did watch some of Holden and Carly together but I did see some Holden carly

I honestly think one of the saddest things was the end of the age of Soap Operas. And, looking back, I can only see that our culture has suffered as a whole. I remember these shows advancing women's rights and issues, minorities' concerns and rights, and more. I miss the shows and the characters so, so much.

My mom watched cbs soaps and her mom ABC soaps, so i got a variety to choose from.

You know Don, Kathryn, Eileen, Marie, Elizabeth, and Larry still looked great! It was always great....now that I'm 58....to always see soap actors that youve watched for 25-30 years age spectacularly. A moving ending. Would've been nice if Bob could've looked at a picture or something of Chris and Nancy.

This was a good show. I don’t remember too much about it bc it went off air when I was a young, but I remember the day it went off air. I always loved Bob, Kim, Barb, Henry, and Lucinda. I remember being at work watching this and being so sad. I had watched sine I was a little girl. Hard to believe it’s been 14 years. Some great actress have passed Lisa Brown, Katherine Hays the great Elizabeth Hubbard.

Ironically this As The World Turns finale aired on what was my late father,s birthday.SMH!! (Dad would have turned 86 years old in 2010) THIS YEAR IN 2024 Dad would of turned 100 September 17th!!--MR.JASON ANTHONY ROUTHIER BALTIMORE MD!!

It's amazing how only two soap operas remain on broadcast television, and on ABC at that!! NBC shuttered "Days Of Our Lives" onto a "streaming service", and with their habit of reusing the same old plotlines (just adding new actors & actresses) I don't know how much longer people will bother tuning-in only to catch the same old story, just different people rehashing the same tired plotlines! I hope that dear, beautiful lady, Brenda Benet, is at peace. She was such a lovely woman! I miss her sweet face!

You can still watch some of them. The girl who played Karley is on GH, Barbara on Y&T, Todd was on GH...
