I had one of these and removed it as it distorted with the engine heat where the hose clamps were and it opened up enough to get my hand inside it so it was pointless for water crossings

The metal things that are inside the tube have come out on the tube that we have. How do you hold those in and where do they go exactly? They don't just fit into place perfectly anywhere??

The top of the snorkel is designed to allow rainwater to seep out the flanges

You can always turn the front wheels in/out each side to enable clearance for the additional torx screws.

Did those just being stuck-on hold long term? Feel like without the screws it would peel off pretty quickly with that tension from the elastic?

Stuck-on held up for about 7 months and then with more stretching and tension it eventually fell off and then switched over to the screw.

Could you post a link to the actual light you used? I bought a halogen bulb a while back and it works but getting it in to replace the incandescent bulb was a real pain and over time I feel like the bulb has worked its way loose, and it blinks out once in awhile and needs to be re-seated inside the assembly. I'd be interested in upgrading to an actual assembly like you use in the video.
