Wow 😂👏. Awesome video. Awesome catches. Catfish on the fluke and light gear fight was awesome. I just learnt skipping flukes this morning after buying a cheap $10 combo for a change.

Doesn't the Ku Klux Klan have a compound located in Dawson Springs? If they still do I really hope the tornado wiped them and their racist compound off the face of the earth.

I see people all the time that have had their lives saved by going in coolers. Sometimes they get stuck in there until someone can dig them out. Has anyone considered putting a few of those survival type space blankets in there? They take up hardly any space at all andmight come in handy for children or the elderly in particular.

EF5 damage. Officially EF4. EF5 house damage to multiple homes, EF5 car damage with cars thrown a quarter to half mile, EF5 tree damage to several completely debarked, denuded, and debranched trees as well as substantial ground scouring including areas of partially scoured concrete of foundations, driveways, and roads in Bremen. In addition, velocity scans measured winds of 309mph a couple thousand feet above sea level which is well above the EF5 threshold, debris was lifted up to 35k feet at least which is at an EF5 level, and debris fall I believe was up to a couple hundred miles from the tornadoes path which is also a characteristic of EF5s only.

@@gigachad1942 agreed it didn’t even hit Bremen directly and most of not all the people in the peak damage zones in Bremen died. not to mention there was widespread EF5 damage.

We were living in Lawrence at the time this tornado hit. We were celebrating our anniversary and eating a nice dinner when the sirens started going off. We hunkered down in our tornado room and prayed. Thank God most of Lawrence was spared but we felt so horrible for the people that lost their homes/businesses. It’s an experience I will never forgot as I am used to hurricanes in Fl, not tornados. Thanks for the video.

It's sad that the tornado was only categorized as f4. I could be wrong but I believe it takes much greater wind to toss a 30-50 ton train car around like a toy. This is only categorized as f4 for insurance companies dont have to pay more. Just food for thought.

I think you are a storm chaser, don’t look like it though. I’m very glad you were safe and I hope and pray all those you care about are too. And that you warned the people of these horrible impending storm. But, I just turned off your video before I even got to the end. Why the ‘NOT FOR BROADCAST’??? Who cares. I was all the greats in storm chasing, such as Pecos Hank. They don’t have that crap across the screen so that you can’t even see the video. I know this is going to sound mean, but I’m not trying to be. Is your video so much more special than all the incredible storm videos out there?? I think not. I have taken many classes, and video footage is used to teach. Yours could not have been used for anything!

We heard it come close to the house. All it took was some gutters on the back of the house. Thank God Daddy put this house in a valley! I haven’t seen town in person yet, going tomorrow to take a few things to some friends. They have 2 rooms left of their house. I really dread seeing all the devastation. We’re less than 2 miles north of it’s path.

No? I live 5 minutes from Dawson Springs, missed me by a hair. This is actually the gas station right by the parkway, in Dawson springs. I know his exact location here. So unlike others (you), im one who *actually* knows what hes talking about. At the beginning of this video he was *100%* staring right at the damn thing, smart guy. It was literally a few minutes from absolutely destroying Dawson Springs, where he was at. Listen to the damn radio broadcast in the video. It all but confirms that. It amazes me how people who are so full of sh*t can be so confident in their statements 😂
