Interesting thanks for the video. When built in the north of England it was a robust tool producer. But since it’s production move to China it’s probably perceived more like a higher end consumer line tool like dewalt and makita.

I buy Makita because it is still made in Japan. I try to buy all my tools out of Europe and Japan, to get the best. I don't trust a lot of the stuff from China. Stuff from Taiwan is far better even.

@@boxenjoyerkona Does power always mean quality? Even a cheap, low quality tool can be built to produce a lot of power. Build it big enough, even junk can have power. Quality is more than just raw power. Compare a good Japanese or German built tool to a Chinese one. The fit and finish are superior, the machine will run smoother. Sometimes better materials in the better ones. IN the end, they work better and last longer. A good tool made of good materials made by good process by good craftsmen will last a long time of hard use. Cheap junk at the bottom of the market will not. Quality can be felt and appreciated. Not just admired as a number on a spreadsheet.
