I never realised how much this show changed in just one year from 1989-1990? I can watch an episode from both years and differentiate which year it’s from.

Dark water, My Life Line The clock of death darkens my spirit The swift sound of a wave Softens my heart Hardens my mind I am nothing but Sea Surf Air No thought No reason No broken time I am water It is my lifeline Time cannot cut it Nor can my father… My life begins in an ageing spineless shed on its last legs, owned by an ageing spineless father, who lives behind an emotional wall. He wares the scars of blood-woven love. There is passion in his eyes, whispering to break out. But he refuses to loosen up, as my generation says. He lives, breathes, an eats discipline and conformity. I’m not writing this to hurt him. It is just the way it is. But as we know a child’s memory can be fragmented.

That was always going to be a major early storyline. The man that Bobby despised most would end up being her father. In truth it was mutual hatred. The Apple didn't fall far from the tree, both Bobby and Flathead Fisher were as stubborn as each other.

From memory I think Morag changed once Alf & Donald finally stood up to her years later.. it was around the time of Dani’s court trail where she made a comeback as the judge. She made amends to summer bay community but leaking her court case which helped Dani get a reduced sentence & her disbarred as a judge. From there she become more hearted where she regretted to Alf that she wished she got to know Bobby more & that she apologies for turning Duncan away from Alf too.
