Most of the population are immature and they re running. Clients has no time . It ll slow the affairs. But i also think that a deaf barista will bring and keep Lots of Nice people. Its all depend which kind of person the manager is. Its a choice. I vote yes

OH! I just remembered that I knew four people who battled cancer and two of them have cancer now. I wish I included that in my statement but I was so shocked being bald at the moment! Haha!

Great show, everyone! Creative, clever, funny, touching. Sweet blend of dance, movement, solemn and humorous Xmas songs and skits, and ASL. Great, spirited way to kick of the holiday season.

I'm having a hard time watching the video. There seems to be a delay, its almost like its in slow motion on my end. Anyone else encountered this problem?

i love that the hearing director looks directly at the deaf actors, and not at the interpreter! VERY RESPECTFUL!

You're not supposed to look at the inturpator. Look at the person who's talking. In this case the deaf person.

its so sad that this still happens these days. It happened to me last month where I applied to a youth group home for practicum with school. I mentioned to them that I was hearing impaired, but use a cochlear implant and they wouldn't take me.

Kiera V I know how you feel. It hard to get job when have hearing aid/cochlear implant, pr even fully deaf. People need to realize that deaf people are the same as them. Fuckin dumbasses.

I would have lost it and freaked out at the barista... I'm just scared that people don't get the message that deaf people can do the same work as hearing and that this is just another example of why they don't have the hire a deaf person. i just hope it sparked positive conversation and true empowerment

If I ever saw something like this I really hope I would have the courage to speak up. As long as they are honest, ethical and willing to work hard, why not hire them??

Gosh, the scene around 5:30-6:30 makes me really uncomfortable, even knowing they're actors.
