I realize now that I have been playing the obtain an action tablet for Imhotep wrong, in my first two games. Thx for unintentionally pointing that out. I believe you made a few errors as well. For example, when you enter a spot with 2 apprentices, you have to pay 3 fish and not 2. And there might have been some mistakes in determining the level of the sphinx and funerary actions. This depends on the scarab level, not the era, I believe.
@Castle4-1GamesАй бұрын
Thanks for watching. You are correct, at the bottom of the apprentice space there is a depiction of 3 fish if there are already 2 apprentices there. On page 3 of the solo rulebook, for Funerary Rite and page 4 of Erect a Sphinx it says, "Mastaba whose level is equal to the current Era." However, I do have to respect the level, in order to play those actions in the right spot. I hope I did that one right.

Hi George, this is a fantastic in-depth rules dive! Thank you so much for taking the time to film and give clarification on the different elements of Everstone! I did catch 2 minor clarifications for your explanation. Relic Setup - At the start of the game, for the third relic you discarded, you would gain its resource cost found in the relics banner as your starting resources instead of the relics discard bonus. Moving multiple spaces on an influence track - If you are moving multiple spaces up or down the tracks, you don't skip over other tokens when counting. You only move an additional space if you end your movement on another player's token. So, in your example showing the 3 movement spaces down, you would be one space higher on the red influence track. Everything else in the explanation was spot on! Thank you so much for creating this video!

Great video. I still think the automa requires too much effort for me to want to play this solo more than once. U are using the automacards wrong. Nothing is correct what u are doing with them. U have lay them next to each other to see what they do and where. The automa passes when one of the bottom most cards had the pass symbol or with the last card. Sure u will win this way

Hi @koenj1000 you have landed on an "Unofficial" solo variant video. This is for folks that would like an easier way to manage the Automa using the existing components. If you are looking for the official Automa rules, I would suggest the links I provided in the show notes, or go on BGG. Thanks.

Based on the Devir tutorial, I believe the starting claim tile should be available to be extracted also. The automa would then extract the starting tile then to the card. A bit confusing since you start with one brine already.

This game feels like it goes to fast. All it takes is to land on those creatures to advance the game timer. By the time I have enough resources the game is over or near the end.
@Castle4-1Games11 ай бұрын
One of things that I would do to prolong the game enough so that I could earn more resources was to avoid adding any of my villagers on any of the tracks that the AI had its villagers on. At least early on in the game. This prevents it from moving her villagers quicker, especially when it comes to the “invite a creature” track. Now, I know it will add two villagers and get off sooner but it still helped me in certain situations. The less creatures the AI can invite, the less it has to move the sun tracker and speed up the game, leaving you with more opportunities to score. Now this is easier said than done, but the less options you leave the AI, the longer time you have to gain resources. I also got my veterans on my own tracks as often as I could. Hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.

Thank you very much for this great playthrough and for your toughts about the game. Some corrections about the progress cards. First, each card that has markers and you are not able to fulfill the requiremeent, you actually lose those points (this happens only in solo mode which is even more important in solo mode which objectives to trigger). Secondly, the last progress card, doesn't require 3+ points on military tiles, it requires 3+ military tiles. Since you only had 2, you also did not fulfill that one, meaning that you would lose those points. So actually, you should have scored 2 points for the second progress card, lose 1 point for the fourth progress card and lose 3 points for the fifth progress card. Which means that you would score -2 points in progress cards. So, final score should have been 14 Points ;) But apart from that, the playthrough was great. Thank you very much.
