During our time spent at Ashurst Lake RJ got in the habit of greeting cars, trotting up to them, tail wagging offering his head thru the windows for pets. He enjoyed walking the campground and greeting campers. He's a glutton for pets and praise and really hams it up. He poses when people ask to take his picture, which happens a lot. He'll be a perfect camphost partner. 💕🐾

@glennmorrell4907 No, the snow was short-lived. The roads were never bad. I The temps are a bit cold but better than extreme heat. I'll move a little further south for warmer temps while I wait for Quartzsite to cool down a bit. One of the nice things about AZ, there's always somewhere the temps are doable.

@LisaR-g1x You can accomplish your dreams including getting yourself to AZ. You can do it one step at a time. We're stronger and more capable than we think we are. We just have to believe in ourselves and keep trying. And in the trying you'll surprise yourself at what you can do. 10 years ago I couldn't imagine I could accomplish or be where I'm at today. It's not easy, so often I felt like I was taking 1 step forward and then 3 steps back. Took me 3 yrs to build out my bus and another yr to hit the road. Just keep dreaming and believing. You got this, you can accomplish your dreams. Patience, perseverance, just don't give up on yourself. I expect to see you in AZ at some point. You are not alone, there are many of us out here and we have each other's backs. And I agree with you, RJ is the sweetest pup ever. Keeps me laughing and smiling daily. 💕🐾 Take care my friend, the day will come when we meet. Building out my bus and moving to AZ is the best thing I've done for my senior self. @marydawkins4190 Hi Mary, we are very close. I'm down by Lake Mary. But it's too cold to stay. I'm planning on heading to Prescott Valley, thinking tomorrow or Sunday. Temps are good there and it's about the halfway mark between here and Q. A good place to hang and wait for temps to cool in Q. I haven't been to Prescott but I hear good things about it. If you want we could meet in Flagstaff and travel together. I have no cell service where I'm at so phone and text isn't working. I'm using a friend's starlink to post and answer comments. Unfortunately my phone doesn't have wifi calling so Starlink doesn't help me there. If you want to caravan with me to Prescott we could meet at the Wal-Mart supercenter on Huntington Ave. Just let me know which day and time is good for you. My bus is easy to find in the parking lot. 😁 I'll watch for your reply here. It is time to escape the cold here for sure.

@marydawkins4190 I know where CB is. I could meet you there. Would you prefer Sat or Sun? I'm about 45 min south of Flagstaff. Could be in town between 10:30 and 11. About a 2 hr drive to Prescott give or take. Then when Q cools down another 2 hr drive. So says GPS. Usually takes me a little longer because I travel 60 to 65 mph which is slower than the speed limit many places.

@CerraehLaykin So sorry about Falcor. But you got him to 17. I commend you for that. Unfortunately after 3 months of fighting it I lost my Little Smokey. You're right about apples and natural sugar. But we were at the point the vet said give him whatever he'll eat. His appetite was so low.

Basically what I now consider my different back yards. Though I do miss having my hands in the dirt. More than a fair trade, I love this lifestyle and my home. Hi John, I don't know how vaccines are created and work. I would imagine it would make them immune to the mold spores. They've been working on the vaccine for years. Some dogs get it and you never know it, some dogs need the treatment for 3 to 6 months and they're fine. Some need the meds for a year, some dogs need to stay on it for life, and some die meds even with meds.

These aren't the killer bees. Just regular honey bees. When they release their stinger they die. They aren't alive to go back to the hive. Unlike hornets and wasps or the killer bees you're referring to. But I do appreciate your concern and warning.

Hi Marilyn, I was in New England when I was12. My parents took us there specifically for the fall colors of the trees. It was magnificent! I'm with you, not a cold weather fan. RJ is my heart. The relief I felt when we determined he didn't have Valley Fever or cancer was equal to the relief I felt when I heard the words that I was cancer free. Everyday is a celebration of life. This super bloom felt like mother nature was celebrating with us. Her gift to us.

Hi Mary, Yes, best news, equal to me hearing I was cancer free. As soon as the vaccine is available, RJ will get one. The super bloom was an incredible, wonderful surprise. A gift for sure. I do love the honey bees, when walking the fields of flowers the bees greeted us, landing and walking on my arms, just saying hi and then back to the flowers. Sweet creatures. When in Quartzite I do put out a bowl with a large rock in it for them to sit on while they drink. My friend Derek taught me that trick in Ehrenberg. I will do the same in Q this winter. Thanks for always being here, I hope things are going well for you also.
