Damn, somehow I would never imagine Los Lobos covering this song, and they freakin' killed it! 😮😀

Tomorrow Never Knows was so far ahead of its time, that even George Harrison said it was maybe ten years after that it was able to be performed live due to the fact that technology just hadn’t caught up yet 🤯 That’s wild

Los Lobos, one of the great bands from East LA, California USA delivers a scorching psychedelic performance of John Lennon’s “Tomorrow Never Knows” from The Beatles’ Revolver Album. (1966) Let’s remember to give The Beatles’ Producer, George Martin, some credit. As validated by Paul McCartney over the years, The Beatle's studio recordings can be replicated live with modern music technology. Best Experienced in Theatre 🎭 Widescreen Mode. Play It Loud!

If there had ever been a live performance of Tomorrow Never Knows by The Beatles I believe this Los Lobos cover is about as close as possible to what that would have sounded like. An incredible performance, gentlemen!

While so many people got caught up in the how the Beatles created a song that could never be recreated Los Lobos just got on the wave length and rode it. They proved you can cover a song without cloning it and take you with them on that journey. Well done.

Ringo came up with the best drum beat ever for this song. Now some people might say that it's a simple pattern - yes, but it took Ringo to come up with it because no one had done it before and no one came up with such a mystical sound after. That's what geniuses do, they don't try to show off, they play what's best for the song and turn it into an absolute legend!

Bad? This is easily one of my favorite Beatles songs of all time. First and foremost, with all due respect to the singer, he does not have the tonal quality to carry this tune. His voice is monotone and flat and lacks Lennon’s erie, nasal, otherworldly quality, inflection and intonation. At a couple of spots he struggles to actually stay in tune, which is completely understandable when noting the absolute cacophony of sharps and flats, which is why the song is produced carefully in a studio and sung with a maximum of five different notes throughout the entire song. Perhaps as unfortunate is the cacophonous sound of live play which cannot possibly match the beautifully, artfully, painstakingly carefully constructed piece of music the original song is. EMI were the absolute GODS of inovation, multitracking cellophane tapes before the technology even existed, and creating sounds only brilliance could conceive of and produce. An excellent effort by a top notch band for sure- give them respect. You just picked the absolute hardest type of sound to recreate live. I am awash with admiration at your strong effort. Gratitude.

Yeah, one of the most underrated bands of all times. They’re all great but David Hidalgo has always been one of my favorite guitarists. Super cool cover.

What I hear, especially in Hildago, is a history lesson: this is the song that made possible Hendrix, Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd, Garcia and the Dead, etc.

In my mind Los Lobos..is the equivalence of The Beatles because every album they did pushed forward to who knows what..but you knew it was them as soon as you heard the album/ cd...a great cover of a classic Beatles song !!!!!
