I remember buying the Strays album when it came out. I was glad to have bought the version that came with the bonus DVD footage featured in this video. Such a fantastic album and great to hear live versions of the songs. Price I Pay is one of my personal favs from this album. Great groove.

I will accept this woman has a decent voice, but a sublime talent of unknown depth - nah. The extreme and controversial nature of her "work" is a set of fig leaves to cover a basic lack of musical talent and a central guiding philosophy to her life. She is a kite, blowing this way and that, I suspect she has no real clue where she is going or what to do next - so she rolls out the shock factor, always a money spinner.

Wow you couldn't be more wrong if you tried.. "lack of musical talent"??? She's MULTI talented, abd a multi instrumentalist. You heard any of Let England Shake? The Hope Six Demolition Project? She's constantly evolving, making music, writing music, writing poetry (which she won a prestigious prize for) man she has talent to BURN. Watch the "PJ Harvey BBC 4 St Lukes" show and tell me she has no musical talent. Damn..
