Considering these very same wheels so you putting this up is much appreciated! I was actually wondering about the size of the wheels and frame in relation to foot and boot size. Mine is 275mm so can either go with a EU 42 or 43 boot. The 42 maxes out at 80mm and the 43 at 84mm. Yours whole setup just looks badass and perfect! Doesn't seem like you lose any agility by going up to 84mm. Do you mind if I ask what your foot and boot size are? Thanks in advance and again great videos, subscribed and liked!

Concerning these wheels I've noticed that compared to the 80mm Hydrogens (white)....these don't last as long (good quality just not same durability). Ans. My skate size is 11 (US sizing Men), I typically wear 28.5cm

I'ma try this today. The cue to swing from the waist is what I think I've been missing.
@Inliner2423 ай бұрын
yeah it's that rotation that helps swing you into the slide, then after that all you do is lock your position so you don't lose stability
@jakżeszjasięuspokoję3 ай бұрын
thank you.🙏 I'll be trying.

Great tips! Will try this out. Would be good to know the minimum speed needed based on the surface roughness. Where you feel the weight distribution in your front and back foot as your slide. It looks like you lean forward just a bit as well.
@Inliner2423 ай бұрын
I'd say you don't have to go fast when learning (most things for that matter) really what you wanna look for is surfaces that are paved well (that's to say not too uneven) for training. The weight on the leading leg (in front) carries most of the weight & the trailing foot (back) is to help keep you stable+ as well as your upper body. Most slides are all about the pose; if you can mimic the pose of what you see...then you can do the move itself. Smooth terrain just makes executing things easier as with rough surfaces you'd have to put in more effort/pressure.

Hi bro, whats your opinion between undercover team and undercover raw? Are better than rollerblade?
@Inliner2425 ай бұрын
Rollerblade Wheels are poured in the US its said. I've seen in forums stated that the Undercover RAW are chinese knock-offs whereas the Team Wheels are made in the USA
@ericbernardi81164 ай бұрын
RAW are made in China, fast but bit unpredictable for slides and don't last as long as the Team wheels... Rollerblade is same, Hydrogen are made in the US and are great, while the Hydrogen SE are made in Thailand, fast but nowhere on US wheels level 🤓

Is 85a actually good for street. I know 82a isn't.. they waste too fast.. they're made for smooth floor. But, how about 85a or even 88a for street?
@Inliner2425 ай бұрын
You're correct; I think anywhere from 84a-89a is good for street in terms of wear & tear

I get on these ~70% of speed of Hydrogen Spectre speed (with same bearings) - totally disappointed with the purchase. I suppose it's due to more rounded profile and worse compound as these are not manufactured in USA like standard Hydrogens are.

Good review. Great footwork! Amazing camera work! Not sure how you managed to skate while keeping your feet nicely in frame. Would love a short video about how you pulled off. Most other skate videos just use a 360 cam and frame it in post.

Oh thanks so much for your detailed comment. I used a GoPro 8 with a selfie stick; what I did was extended the stick so it could reach my feet (while holding the camera upside down) (flipped image in post) In GoPro settings I'm using 'Wide Angle View' 120fps. If this wasn't detailed enough for you, please write back, I'd love to help best way I can.

How long does the 85A last? I have a 90mm setup, I just got a pair of skates done about 8 hours on them in 3 days. I've been skating on similar surfaces like the ones in your video. Based on your experience you think I have 6 months or a year on them? I'm hoping to do at least 1-2hrs 4 days out of the week.
@Inliner2426 ай бұрын
I can vouch for these particular wheels in the video yes I do believe you can get a few months of usage out of them but not a whole year that's stretching it a bit lol
