This sega saturn layout is still my favorite one for gamepads (superior to ps1-ps2). The D-pad was decent enough to play genesis emulation.. short travel, precise enough and fast response. Here are some of the games I have enjoyed playing with it back in the day: - starwars racer - rogue squadron and SW starfighter (gold medal completed) - genesis ans SNES games (sonic, beyond oasis, secrets of mana 2..)

Hell yeah I remember this. Shortly after I played basic games on this, I actually paid for a lifetime subscription to the game service Kali. It allowed IPX (LAN) connections over TCP/IP.
@gulskjegglive4 жыл бұрын
Yeah we used Kali as a virtual LAN for X Wing vs TIE Fighter games.
@nirv4 жыл бұрын
@@gulskjegglive It's so hard to find any information about Kali online. It's totally forgotten. I probably have the install executables somewhere on a bluray. I collected so much stuff from the late 90s early 2000s. mpegs, mpgs, avi, jpg, install exes, IRC logs etc.
@gulskjegglive4 жыл бұрын
@@nirv I also have some stuff I have saved from nearly 20 years ago. The Dagoth Moor Zoological Gardens demo installer, and an SWF movie file that refuses to play on ANY modern browser other than Internet Explorer. I lost my mIRC chat logs many years ago, but I talked to a kid (now a 30+ year old insurance manager) I used to play online with, and he said he kept many logs from back in the day. I keep a 3ghz Windows 98 SE PC, along with a quad-core Windows XP PC in my cave just to play that small handful of games that only work on specific operating systems. e.g. European Air War and Operation Flashpoint.
