I don't use emulators. I have a setup of 8 DSs that are modded with Capture cards and Controller mod. But even if it was on emulator, who cares? everyone hunts their own way, at the end of the day this is a silly hobby we shiny hunters embark on. Why discredit each other because of the way we hunt? to me THAT is pretty stupid

@@Fubuki990 because it's too easy. Shiny hunting in 3rd Gen is fun because it takes forever to obtain a shiny and that's why it's valuable. This is like cheating bro

If you feel that way, and you prefer single hunting, That's fine! I'm not judging people for that saying its slow or that you should increase your games. My point is everyone hunts the way they enjoy, we're all doing things our own way and the beauty is that the way I do things doesn't effect you and the way you do things doesn't effect me. This divide in the community of Single hunting Vs. Multi hunting is just unnecessary. I'd rather see people have fun and get excited for their own and each other's shinies. I love seeing people get hyped, even when its about for example a shiny someone obtained in SV with charm and methods or whatever, something I wouldn't get excited for. as long as finding that shiny gets them hyped, that's awesome to see!

What was your setup for this? Assuming these are 4 emulator instances and not official carts. I’m doing my own DTQ and wonder how you’re controlling 4 at once. I’m doing fire red and leaf green official carts, but am playing 1 at a time on my Mac using the GB operator so I can speed up to 5x

Yo, I just got here today, I was hunting for shiny zapdos a few years and realized I was doing it longer. There's another way faster than soft-reseting. You just have to run away and go out to the power plant and go in again. And there! Zapdos respawns.

Congrats! This was my first safari week and I had 3 games, HG, LG and Emerald, I found 3 shinies and all were in emerald, failed Aipom, my first safari week shiny ever but caught Ledyba and Mareep to make up for it, wasn’t insane but it was a great first safari week and I can’t wait for the next one.

Illuminate is one of the very few abilities that actually has an effect outside of battle across all gen 3 games! also, highly recommend this hunt! it's tough but so worth it!

I will never do safari hunts. When I work hard to find a shiny, it shouldn't have such a high chance to flee. In BDSP, I found a shiny Wooper on my first time being in the safari park. It let me throw 3 balls and ran. A few encounters later, I encountered another. I thought this was my glorious instant reclaim. But, no. It ran after the first ball. The only reason I will return to BDSP Safari Park is to reclaim those 2 shinies. And that will not happen soon.

@Fubuki990 I get it. It just seems way too unfair. I've seen people, including you, go from 2k encounters to 10k encounters in between shinies, and then they lose it 7 times out of 10.
