I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency in 2020 January. I’ve been dealing with that same feeling ever since I can’t sleep as soon as I lay down I can’t breathe. It feels just like it’s like you said somebody sitting on my chest causes anxiety. I hate adrenal insufficiency do you take more steroids for that Sometimes I do and it helps.

Similar story, I couldn't get up out of bed for 9 months Last test was cortisol, I'm AI hypopituitarism and Hypothyroidism Taking hydrocortisone and started Fludrocortisone My electrolytes are not producing what they should. My consultant has booked a curve day, where they will monitor by bloods etc to investigate the levels are what I need. It's sad, it takes you to be seriously ill before they test for cortisol Good luck for the future ❤

I was going through chemo with added immunotherapy. After about week 9 of weekly infusions I became extremely weak. I couldn't walk without holding onto furniture and walls. I tried to tough it out thinking I just needed to fight through chemo, as we're taught. After a week of not getting better I went in, had 5 concurrent days of fluids and on last day the doctor added steroids to my drip. I finally felt better and went home with prednisone. Consensus was still that it was chemo affecting me. That was October. Fast forward to late November, my labs showed hypothyroidism, then more labs revealed secondary adrenal Insufficiency. I'm on meds for both but it's very difficult to find a doctor that has experience treating both together. The immunotherapy caused these autoimmune diseases and this side effects is very rare. Your video is helpful knowing I'm not a hypochondriac. That in itself is so reassuring, thank you

Great explanation on this rare condition! My friend dealt with hypocortisolism, and her energy levels were always low. Planet Ayurveda’s Ashwagandha Capsules and Shatavari worked so well to balance her health and energy. Highly recommend trying these!

Fludrocortisone. Insulin intolerance test done in the hospital to measure my body’s response to stress. I think they did blood cortisol test before, during and after to confirm diagnosis.

I’m living through this rn unfortunately 😢 It’s taken me 6 months to get an appointment with an Endocrinologist and I feel like I’m dying everyday. The joint pain, hair loss, loss of appetite, brain fog , low BP and sugar crashes have me scared to death. I’m so weak I can rarely get out of bed. My appointment is September 11th, please pray that I make it until then.

Yeah, I was told I had Addison’s disease in the hospital six months ago I’m not on any medication and it is very difficult very I gotta go in for another cortisol test I am afraid to start the medication because I know I will have to depend on it for the rest of my life and I was hoping that my adrenals might reverse where I don’t have to take the medication but I don’t know but thanks for putting your input in medication I appreciate that I was wondering how much it would be

I know. I felt the same way. I was against all medication for several years but this is the type of disease that you can’t get away with without medication. Taking the steroids was the best thing I did to get my life back. Before that it was impossible to live. Now I just take the tablets and try not to think about them and the fact that I need them for life. Trust me.Life is better with them.

It’s turned my life upside down just want to be normal and be able to function every day normallyso your interviews I’ve watched a couple of them and you really have helped me just by listening to you on one of your videos that you take medication and you’re doing better. I’m trying to prevent that but I just want to live a normal life and get better.

You can take frozen bananas and use heavy cream with Kiefer and mix it together and it’s like vanilla ice cream and it taste delicious to me and you won’t have all that sugar and you won’t gain weight from it. I’m sure it’ll be a lot better for you than any store bought ice cream that is really not good for you.

Another issue with this disease, it is complicated by also having PTSD. When I become stressed, it is very difficult to normalize my body. Stress is not a continuum for me. It is calm or Pressing on the gas at 500 mph. Instant acceleration of my symptoms. Full blown panic attacks and major struggles to return to stability. I am so grateful for your post.

Thank God for letting me watch this video. I’ve had 2 miscarriages and I also have MTHFR - C677T homozygous. I do my own research on internet and also got advice from my doctor. But it seems there is no surefire method. I was really desperate when I had 2 miscarriages and no doctor gave me an accurate explanation of my situation. Some doctors say that the MTHFR gene is not related to miscarriage, but according to many researchs, everyone who has recurrent miscarriages has this gene. Along with that, I also see a lot of information about using methods such as lovenox injection and baby aspirin, and still not successful. After I saw your video, I decided to try on Serrapeptase. I understand the suffering of those who experience recurrent miscarriages. And the desperation when the doctors couldn't help, they just tried and tried. If so then I personally might try it either way. I will update with more information after I get pregnant.

I'm so sorry about all the arguing going on around you. It only makes your stress & symptoms worse. It's a very "bad" situation to be living in. The illness is bad enough but having to deal with people fighting around you can drive you to insanity. I will pray for you so God can somehow get you away from all this & give you His peace in your heart. So sorry😢. God bless you! 🙏 From someone who deeply understands! 🌹

I liked so much what you had to say! I have secondary adrenal insufficiency & my Endocrinologist, my Primary Care doctor, & my husband are very supportive. Friends & family don't understand & unfortunately I have lost friends because of this illness. I certainly know & can empathize with your symptoms. Many of the symptoms you described I also have. I wish that you & I would be able to be friends & support one another. I wish you all the best & pray that you have more days that are positive & filled with more energy. I can't get out of bed on most days, no matter how much I try. I get up just to go to the bathroom & back to bed😢. There's a lot of brain fog & difficulty concentrating. I have to make lists for everything I need to do. Well, enough of my symptoms. I hope that anyone who suffers from this illness & is reading this will learn to accept their limitations & be kinder with themselves. This illness has taught me a lot about life & myself. May God help all of us who suffer with this disease. My ❤ goes out to you! Rose 🌹

I've been going through adrenal fatigue (HPA axis stress dysfunction.) it's been horrific. This is a sixth year and I'm finally coming out the other side. No help from doctors, I had to find out things myself. crazy covid didn't help. Thankfully I didn't get the clotshot in my already struggling body. I have to take things very slow. it's been a crazy ride and cost me a fortune trying to get my body back. I'm using cannabis in coconut oil now and I'm finally feeling good again. I still get bad shaky days but they are getting less and lasting less. I probably will never fully get my strength back but I'm 77. so expected. I will admit there were times, because it went on and on, that I didn't care if I'd died, it was so horrible. But I am better so be strong, LOVE YOUR BODY especially when it is struggling. Treat it as you would a sick child, with tender love. it will respond accordingly.❤❤❤

I have been diagnosed with Addison's for over 10 years, but had it for way longer and hospitalized with severe adrenal crisis and followed by coma. These were near death experiences. I have had numerous crisis' since and can't count them all, some were an ambulance ride and hospitalization. And some I learned to recognize the symptoms early and head the crisis off at home. The doctors won't treat you anyway and I have nearly died in front of them and they just watch your blood pressure. I am on stress doses of Hydrocortisone now due to pain from arthritis. I can say that even though you are on HC that you still have debilitating symptoms of Addison's. I have to balance my own electrolytes because I produce zero Aldosterone. And zero all the other hormones made by the Cortex. I have a good doctor 5 hours drive from here, so he can't help me in the ER. I am trying to educate my doctors and ambulance, hospital and ER with literature for that very purpose from the National Adrenal Disease Foundation. All kinds of things can put me into a crisis, like being out in the cold for an hour, or family trouble, or loud noise. I turned off the buzzer on my dryer because it sends adrenaline through my body. The list goes on, worry or fear. Or good things like being with my grand kids. It is all stress and I can take very little. I can not work and do the things I use to do like garden. This disease is all encompassing. Some people say they can life a relatively normal life after getting on steroids. I don't see how. I have zero production of hormones, from the cortex. I have to be my own doctor as my doctor who cares for me is so far away. I like connecting with others who have the disease so I can learn and better take care of myself. Thank you for sharing your life.

I have unspecified adrenal insufficiency that's chronic. I had the and still have some hyperpigmentation. Anyhow, so making new friends and explaining can be difficult to get across. Like recently my new friends have said oh I get really tired. Maybe I should get checked. I think I have what you have. I don't wish it on anyone. I'll ask them. Have you ever had your hormones checked and they say no? I'm supposed to be on HR since I had a hysterectomy or partial hysterectomy or I'm supposed to take B12. Tada... I encourage them to go to the doctor

I took it up until the day before I gave birth. Thank you again… I cannot be more grateful!

Lots of good food. Water and sleep and rest. And dont push ourselves. Be kind to ourselves. Rest when your body tells you. Good days bad days. I have Addisons.xx❤❤❤
