Hi, this is such an excellent video 👍🏻 easy to understand 👏🏻 I live in Denmark 🇩🇰 and I’ve bought some 5mm cord but it’s very soft compared to the one you use in the video, do you think it will work? or do you think I will have to keep looking around for an alternative? I didn’t see your recommendation about 6,35 mm until after my purchase 😅

This is a really good tutorial. I make Native American dolls (11-12") for myself, don't sell them. I just finished one two days ago and want to make a little basket for her to hold. I started making one out of raffia for the first time ever and because it's my first attempt it of course was a hot mess. Lol. It isn't a wrapped coil technique. I want to make a coil basket and I'm glad I found your video. You made it very clear and easy to understand. Because my basket will be pretty small I will experiment with some materials I have like soft cotton twine, embroidery thread, maybe some jute or whatever works. Thank you very much for posting this tutorial!!!

buithivan binh It's the same cotton cording you would use to trim around a pillow. You can buy by the yard or prepackaged. it comes in different thicknesses.
