At that time, Japan had implemented a total mobilization order, so women, from young girls to high school students and housewives, wore those mompe pants. My grandmother was an elite woman attending high school in the 1940s, but instead of attending classes, she had to participate in labor. I heard that even the spoons at home were taken by the Japanese to make bullets. Speaking in Korean was forbidden in front of teachers wearing uniforms and swords, and everyone was forced to adopt Japanese names. Such a war must never happen again.

Jewish are so keen to make movies about their past, where they are talking about love, humanity and kindness. I would be delighted to see same "kindness" toward palestinians from the jewish people... Time to get you head out of you ass

It was only a matter of time until someone wrote such a comment..then I will explain something to you..there is no Israeli/Jew in the world who was the first to pick up a weapon of any kind! The fact that anti-Semitism today finds it easy to project their hatred under the guise of being pro-Palestinian does not make you righteous, it only makes you a modern Na-zi! The Israelis are fighting today for their home which has been attacked once again by those who seek to destroy them..because we are experienced from the past and are no longer willing to go as sheep to the slaughter! want a better world for your Palestinian friends..tell them to stop attacking Israel and use the billions of dollars that are transferred to them to build for themselves And their children a better future..just like the Holocaust survivors did!

Sounds terribly cheesy, truly boring and utterly predictable. I could perhaps watch it, once it’s free in HBO and nothing better is available.

Neat little gimmick to tie a mediocre film to the success of an unrelated one by nonetheless straining to create a connection.
@DanielbenYishai6 сағат бұрын
To be fair, it is the same author, and she was the one who wrote the story of Julian's grandmother trying to explain to him, why his bullying was so very wrong. Go listen to the audiobook "White Bird" by RJ Palacio or read the graphic novel and then give the film a chance.

well Andrew Koji was the Character like Bruce Lee but i know in real the Fights would be far more brutal in fight for Live and so like they fought every real Fighter knows one real hard Hit is enaugh - thats what i most hated was the perverse killing of Chickens

Would be nice as a standalone so why connect it to wonder? Make a real redemption story of the bully or even a sequel about the kid. This feels like a cheat. I'd like to see a sequel (with Jacob) not a spinoff
@Dylan-xu1dw14 күн бұрын
it's connected because the story was told in the sequel novel Auggie & Me. hope the movie can still have a lot of julian moments
@andrsred14 күн бұрын
Because is based on the Graphic Novel, that is an expansion of a story from the book Auggie & Me: Three Wonder Stories?
@kronk2.09419 күн бұрын
This movie was released here in Italy around last Christmas, so I already had a chance of getting around it, and putting aside Wonder and everything related with it (its connections with this one being ephemeral at best), this sadly turned out being just a trite, by the numbers one-like-a-thousand movie, especially since we recently had such good Holocaust flicks like One Life or The Zone of Interest.
@blueapples13 күн бұрын
Yeah this just gives off superficial vibes.
@anakinjmanu7 күн бұрын
Dang. I don't get why it was necessary to connect this to Wonder. It's a such because anything with Helen Mirren is good.

No it’s the third season of a tv show called * Industry * set in the world of finance…. It’s very edgy and the sex scenes are very adult .

Ok um...I always felt bad for the kid who got expelled in that movie but at the same time this film doesn't seem like HIS story of moving forward from that but more a vehicle for something else. Next time give more scenes with the character from Wonder.
