Awesome vid & title. Hope they buff TnJ's kill power/knockback. His weight class is already too light(bad). Find it ridiculous that a Jason(who now has shield) and other heavier weights can easily kill at 70/80 with an armoured attack and he's not dying at 130+ like bruh...

You should really get into the habit of using shields more, as well as keeping Jerry closer to you instead of throwing him out and using up special (I used to do that too) also a fun thing you can do is use nair while they're hugging the wall and hit them with either your spike or Jerry shot to secure the kill after the wall bounce. You have the combos down you just need to embrace toms more technical side.

It's because Jason is braindead simple to play, which is why every "top" Jason plays the same. All they do is loop their jab combo to get you off the ledge, side special for the stock, or if it doesn't KO then try to dair or fair for the win, which if they have to compete for that they use airwalker platforms. It's a rinse and repeat strategy, and honestly anyone somewhat decent at the game should be able to master it in an hour. The most braindead part about it is that they have a mile of disjointed reach with their jab combo, it comes out incredibly fast for how powerful it is, and he only needs to win neutral 2-3 times to get the stock, whereas you'll likely have to win neutral 5-10 times to kill him, depending on character. It's likely rare that you're losing to Jason players, versus just losing to the character.

@@lawrencedugar6167 I agree. Shields were actually a big buff for him already, since it even better enables his cheese strategies, especially when he has so many shield break options himself. These shield break options just so happen to combo right back into his jab combo, as well as his jab combo coming out very quick after shield. If you're playing a character that doesn't have both a very easy guaranteed kill setups, and their own fast options out of shield, it's a very, very uphill battle where you have to outplay a Jason player massively to stand a chance of winning. This is why I hate when people give credit to "Jason mains". 99.99% of the time it's the character, not the player, so cut "mains" out of that and just say "Jason".
