You need around 160 pulls to guarantee your 5-star. Of course, you can get lucky and them before that, but counting on it makes gacha hurt.

I saved up 84 wishes and 44 pity ahead of time and had to go to hard pity only to lose my first 50/50 on her banner to Diluc, who I now have at C2, as well as getting a C3 Chevreuse from those pulls. Then, on my second 50/50 on her banner, at 70 pity, I finally managed to pull Raiden! I have never been so relieved to finally pull a character in Genshin before!

yup i got similar luck, i had 410 pulls saved to go from c0-c3 and r1 weapon, thought easily that’s enough NOPE LOL i also put £250 extra on the game on top of it all and had around 550-600 pulls to get 4 copies of a character and 2 weapons
