I just purchased the ridgeline fleece zip T and received it yesterday. It's an AWESOME piece of gear and covers 3 layers, imo. I'm sorry I missed the hoody on the website; I would have purchased it instead. I'll likely be living in this thing around the house this winter.

I've been asking for the video and I didn't even realize you already had it up😂 my bad now I just need you to add the mule deer backgrounds to some of the black tail ones and that would be perfect

Caribou herds are in decline all over AK. You probably would have done better bow hunting off the haul road. Too bad they dropped you off in a bad area. The guides run the show up here. Unless you have your own plane or a buddy that does, the guides hunt the beast areas. Nonresident hunting in the Nowitna drainage is closed now. Locals have priority.

How does this compare to cabelas “ instinct gear”?

A very good review of Digital Taxidermy. As you mentioned this is a unique service that is a great concept, especially to capture the memory of your hunt, for bringing back a mount that was destroyed from the original hunting pictures, or have a picture of your trophy on the wall in areas where you cannot hang a full shoulder mount. A lot of pros and good things, but there are a couple of cons as well. One is the price because all Digital Taxidermy does is use Photoshop and Topaz Photo AI to cut and copy the antlers off your photo onto their pre-made backgrounds of deer. The price is high for around 15 minutes of work on these photo programs. Also, most of the backgrounds look awesome when you get the full high-resolution digital file, but some of the backgrounds do look cartoonish and lack realism. With today's advanced artificial intelligence (AI) photo creation software, the appearance should all be 100% lifelike (again, refer back to the cost.)

I wanna see reviews where you actually wear the jacket in rough conditions. This essentially tells me nothing.

I just ordered the new all black version and cannot wait to see how it fares here in the PNW. Will be wearing it for mainly the not so rainy days and to keep the clear and cold days at bay.

For me feels like they charge $4,500 for a 15 minute flight each way. The rest you can get for free or is not included.

Saw you guys at airport and Sportsman. Wondered how your hunt went. You should check out out hunt video...

The pockets aren't stitched and the glue falls apart quickly, I've had two and both were the same. I did however get a full refund from Kuiu so no bad feelings.

I can’t find any information on arctic compass either. A shuttle service is the missing link I need. Can you please post their website or any other information on them?

Unfortunately they are no longer operating. Uhaul goes back to being the best choice for most.

Question, Are the shoulders and forearms insulated? Also, you having a large, can you put a keni under it with no issues. I'm a big guy, I have a 53in chest and get everything in a 3x top. My strong fleece fits well except the arms. My arms are big so it's snug, especially the forearms. All my pelotons fit well, and the keni is perfect with layers under it, it is also a 3x. I ordered an axis in 3x and couldn't put my keni on under it. Arms, shoulders, and chest is too small amd fits snug with a t shirt. I sent it back yesterday because I just couldn't see keeping it when I was counting on using it as my outer protection layer. This looks okay, but probably would need a Yukon to go over it. Late season in western pa is nuts. 5f in the morning ends up at 35f high with possible showers turning to snow showers and back 20 by dark. Just wild swings in weather half of the time.

I have the elements jacket and it is very comfy but it's not as warm as they advertise. I get cold it unless I layer very well underneath. I am not sure I am sold on the hybrids for warmth but they are very nice and well made.

Thanks man! We know its a pretty basic video but we were getting a lot of questions on it and just wanted to put out our first impressions. Hope it helps! We will have a more in depth video up after we put it to the test.
