I built my first ukulele and I love it...I am not sure why it took me so long to get one...I have been fingerpicking guitar for nearly 30 years and wanted something more portable. But I find I pick up the uke more than my guitar. To me, it is a little bit like a mini classical guitar but I am sure I will learn to play it a little more tradionally with time. I mostly watch this channel because I like how you dudes play. Any ukulele artists you could recommend? Right now I am clueless and useing Spongebob soundtrack and searching names of songs on there but some influential ukulele player names would make it easier on me lol

I used to play an Enya K5 tenor with no pickup, but having watched your video, I've realised I would like to have one with a double pickup, the sound is so warm and nice, it is just simply fascinating.

Hello Andrew, Hello Corey, can not remember, the last review of a Barron River - seems to be a while ago?! So these Barron River Ukes, escpecially in a Concert Size, seems to be very rare for me. The Cherry Top and the whole Uke is looking so nice. And I love the sound of it 👌 - its very resonant and has a really full sound for a concert one. Thanks for showing us this wonderful Instrument! All the best and Mahalo Nui to you from Germany, Bettina

That’s a really nice wood combination. Not only sounds great, but uniquely pretty too. (I also like the headstock inlays; I heard that newer models may not feature the inlays, but I think it would be good to at least offer them as an option - if the reason for eliminating them was to make the cost point more attractive. I think many would opt for the headstock inlays).

Im torn between concert or tenor. I’ll be coming from guitar and classical guitar. I like ukuleles sound and the simple chords. My only fear is if I go with tenor I’ll be losing the classic uk’ sound. I know concert to tenor is not as big of a jump as soprano to tenor would be. But just curious what you guys think. Thanks 🙏🏼
